Thank you for joining me today.

Our focus.

Is breathing.

Today,

We will become aware.

Of how our breath.

Fuels our existence.

Please take a seat in a chair or on the couch.

Or lie down in a comfortable position.

And simply close your eyes.

And begin to relax.

I will guide you through a breathing exercise.

To calm the nervous system.

And slow the heart rate.

I want you to take a nice deep breath in through the nose,

Filling the belly.

Then the chest with the air.

And hold it for a count of four.

1234 and exhale out the mouth.

Squeezing down the navel.

And hold 1234.

Breathe in through the nose,

Filling the belly.

Then the chest.

And hold 1234.

And exhale slowly out the mouth.

And hold 1234.

One more big breath in through the nose.

Hold 123 and four.

And exhale.

Now allow your breathing to settle in to its normal rhythm.

You will experience a few deep breaths.

Feel that air flow through the nose.

And as it comes back out of the nose,

It brush over the top lip.

Each inhale feeding life to every cell in your body.

To every cell in your body.

Each exhale bringing life to the world around you.

Breathe.

You may sit here and stay with this breathing exercise as long as you'd like.

And when you are ready,

Simply bring your awareness back to your full body.

Wiggle your fingers and your toes.

And take one last deep breath in through the nose.

And out through the mouth.

Thank you for being here with me today.
