
Dive Into Sleepiness
Whenever you are having difficulties falling asleep, this meditation will help you to drift away easily. The flow starts with letting go of the desire of falling asleep and diving deep into gratitude, connecting to your heart, scanning your body, and concludes with relaxing into your bed with a delta wave enhanced music and guidance.

Welcome,
Dear soul.
Welcome to this sleeping meditation.
Assuming you lie in bed already,
We can begin.
First of all,
Thank you for joining us and choosing us for drifting you asleep.
Now let's start with completely releasing the desire of wanting to sleep.
Let's just take a deep breath and just breathe out and relax into your bed.
Having no intention to fall asleep,
But just to be here with yourself in bed.
To be present with your body,
To be present with your thoughts,
With your ideas and with your current energy.
Whatever that current energy is,
Let's just accept it.
Even if you already feel sleepy,
Even if you feel overactive or your mind is still racing,
Let's accept that.
You can even say to your mind right now,
Mind,
It's completely allowed that you have this energy right now.
It's completely okay.
I'm just here laying in bed,
Relaxing,
Being present with myself.
Let's take another deep breath and release the neck and shoulders of any tension.
Let's first thank this day and express some gratefulness.
Can you come up with something today that you're grateful for?
Maybe another thing.
And maybe another thing.
And just let these thoughts of gratefulness,
Almost like a film,
Enter your mind and say thank you.
Thank you that this happened.
Thank you that that happened.
Thank you that I learned this new thing.
And just feel the vibration of gratefulness filling you up.
Breathing in some gratefulness and breathing out some gratefulness.
And even if you don't have anything to be grateful for,
Or at least you think so,
Maybe you can be grateful you're laying in bed right now and say a thank you for that.
Maybe you can be grateful that you're able to listen to this right now and you have the technology that's capable to do this.
Maybe you can be grateful you drink water today or you were able to take a shower.
Even those little things I'm sure you can be grateful for.
So let that stream of gratefulness enter your awareness.
Say thank you inside your mind.
And don't forget yourself in this too.
Can you be grateful for you today?
Can you be grateful for your heart,
For your lungs,
For your hands,
For your eyes?
Let this gratefulness slowly fill you up.
Let's take another deep breath.
Do you feel any uncomfortability?
If you're laying down right now then please adjust your posture.
You can lay down however you like.
You can go in a futist position or straight.
You can adjust your cushions.
Make sure you're as comfortable as possible.
And go deeper into this meditation.
I want you to breathe in right now for six seconds.
And breathe out for eight.
Let's do this a couple more times.

Almost like a big ice block that's melting.
And let yourself melt.

A little more.

What happens when we hold?

And hold.
And breathe out.

And let your in-breath naturally come up here.

And relax and melt even more.
Now,
With this beautiful state.
If you still didn't drift away.
I want you to bring your focus to your head.
Just above your spine.
And feel if there is any tightness,
Any discomfort,
Any tension.
And with a beautiful breath.

And breathe out and release.
Feel your eyes.
Your forehead.
Your eyebrows.
Your cheeks.
Your ears.
Your lips.
Your tongue.
Your jaw.
And let them release.
Maybe let your jaw just relax by letting it a little bit open.
Feel if you can relax your eyebrows.
Feel if you can relax extra all your face.
Now bring your focus on your neck and the back of your neck and the back of your head.
And wherever you touch the pillow.
And feel if there is any discomfort,
Any tension.
And taking a deep breath in and out.
Release.
Now bring your attention to your shoulders.
And feel if there is any tension,
Any discomfort.
And whatever there is.
With a deep breath in and out.
Feel the release.
Now bring this relaxation to your spine.
Feeling your back touching the bed sheet.
Getting more and more relaxed with your attention.
Your arms are getting more and more relaxed.
And melting away with every breath.
All the tension.
All the discomfort is melting away with ease and grace.
Now focus on your heart area.
On your chest.
Maybe feel the heartbeat.
And feel if you feel anything.
Any stress,
Any negative emotion.
Anything from the past or the future.
Melting away as you keep breathing in and out.
Take a deep breath here.
Very slowly.
Let it out.
Now bring your attention to your belly,
Your abdomen area.
Feel if you hold anything here.
Is there anything unresolved?
Let's release it with a big deep breath in.
Now focus on your hips.
Feel any discomfort and tension.
Breathe into your hips to release.
Now feel your thighs.
And feel the relaxation.
All the tension and discomfort is just melting away as you keep breathing.
Relax your knees with every breath.
Feel this relaxation is going deeper and deeper and deeper.
Relax your calves.
Relax your feet.
Relax your toes.
Now feel all your body.
Is releasing everything that doesn't serve you.
And melting all the worries,
All the tension in your body automatically as you keep breathing in and out.

Can you feel the deepness of your body?
Can you feel the deepness?
Completely melted with the cosmos.
Completely melted with the stardust that we are made of.
Lay your attention on your heart right now and see when the pulse of your heart makes itself known in your beautiful body.
Now focus on your mind.
See if the pulses from your heart can reach your mind like waves moving towards the shore.
Let the mind be completely calmed down by every heart pulse it receives.
Every pulse of the heart is an instruction of the mind to go slower,
To calm down.
You can visualize this like a fan that's spinning and slows its speed.
Or maybe you can feel it like an hamster wheel that's just turning around and every beat of your heart makes this hamster wheel go slower and slower and slower and slower and slower and slower until your heart and your mind sink.
And reach the beautiful state of brain-heart coherence.
Feel how your awareness is just present with all of it.
Now give it the freedom to move you in whatever way it wants.
Give it the freedom to let you drift away.
It's totally allowed to let funny images come up.
It's totally allowed to drop deep into the theta and delta waves of your mind.
