Today we'll take a peaceful journey up a snowy mountain,
A place of tranquility,
Stillness,
And discovery.
Begin by finding a comfortable position.
You can sit with your back straight and your hands resting gently on your lap,
Or lie down if that feels better for you.
Now close your eyes softly,
Take a deep breath in through your nose,
And slowly exhale through your mouth.
Again,
Breathe in deeply,
Filling your lungs with fresh,
Cool air,
And exhale,
Releasing any tension or stress from your day.
One more time,
Breathe in deeply and out slowly.
Feel your body begin to settle,
Becoming heavy and relaxed.
With each breath,
You are sinking deeper into a state of calm.
Now,
In your mind's eye,
Imagine yourself standing at the base of a majestic mountain.
The mountain is blanketed in soft white snow,
Glistening under a pale winter sky.
The air is crisp and fresh,
Invigorating your senses.
You take a deep breath,
Feeling the coolness of the air fill your lungs.
In front of you is a path that winds gently up the mountain.
It is clear and inviting,
Lined with tall evergreen trees dusted with snow.
This path will guide you upwards,
Step by step,
Toward the summit.
You begin walk slowly,
Each step crunching softly in the snow beneath your feet.
Notice how the cold air brushes against your skin,
Refreshing and invigorating.
With each step,
You feel more grounded,
More connected to the earth beneath you.
The trees around you are tall and still,
Their branches heavy with snow.
There is a deep,
Peaceful silence here,
A silence that soothes your mind and quiets your thoughts.
Only the gentle sound of your footsteps and the occasional rustle of the wind accompanies you on this journey.
As you continue walking,
You notice how the path gently rises.
With each step,
You feel a sense of lightness,
As if the mountain is lifting you up,
Carrying you higher and higher.
The snow around you sparkles like tiny crystals,
Reflecting the light of the sun breaking through the clouds.
You pause for a moment to take it all in,
The beauty,
The stillness,
The vastness of the snowy landscape.
Take a deep breath in.
As you exhale,
Feel yourself releasing any remaining tension.
Each breath brings you closer to a state of deep peace and clarity.
You continue your ascent,
Feeling stronger,
More energized with each step.
You notice the air growing cooler as you climb,
But it feels refreshing,
Filling you with a sense of renewal.
In the distance,
You can see the summit of the mountain,
A place of stillness and serenity,
Just waiting for you.
Finally,
You reach the top of the mountain.
You stand at the summit,
Gazing out over the vast snowy landscape below.
The sky is a soft shade of blue,
With wisps of clouds drifting gently across it.
The sun shines brightly,
Casting a warm,
Golden light over the snow.
You feel a profound sense of accomplishment of having reached this beautiful place so peaceful.
Take a moment to stand here,
To breathe in the crisp,
Clean air,
And to feel the stillness all around you.
This is your space,
A sanctuary of peace and clarity,
Far above the noise and distractions of everyday life.
Here,
You are free to simply be.
As you stand at the summit,
Take a moment to reflect.
Is there a thought,
A feeling,
Or a question you would like to release into this vast,
Open space?
Breathe deeply,
And as you exhale,
Let it go,
Allowing it to dissolve into the stillness around you.
Feel the lightness,
The freedom,
The peace.
Now it is time to begin your journey back down the mountain.
You turn and begin to walk slowly down the path,
Feeling calm and centered with every step.
The snow is soft beneath your feet,
And the trees once again welcome you with their quiet presence.
As you descend,
You carry the sense of peace and clarity with you,
Knowing that you can return to this mountain,
To this place of stillness,
Whenever you need.
The path gently guides you back to the base of the mountain,
And as you reach the bottom,
You take one final deep breath in,
And exhale slowly.
Begin to bring your awareness back to your body.
Feel the surface beneath you,
The air around you.
Gently wiggle your fingers and your toes.
When you're ready,
Slowly open your eyes.
Welcome back.
