A new year is about to start and it seems like this is the perfect moment to stand still with what the last year brought and what we wish from the following. Enjoy this year reflection of 2025 and visualisation meditation of 2026 and have a beautiful start to the new year. Much love, Clemens

Hi there,

This is Clemens from MindAnchor and today I would like to invite you for this reflection and visualization meditation on the year 2025 and 2026.

So to start find a comfortable position on your chair or on the cushion on the floor.

Place your hands on your knees or on your lap and once you're ready you can gently close your eyes.

With the closing of the eyes letting go of any outside world experience,

Letting go of your to-do list,

Letting go of what happened today or last week.

Simply allow yourself to settle in,

Settle into your posture,

Settle into your seat.

And then just allow your face,

The muscles in your shoulders and your hands to relax a tiny bit more.

And let's take three very deep breaths in all the way through the nose into the belly,

Breathing in,

Holding at the top and slowly breathing out through the mouth.

Again breathing in all the way through the nose into the belly,

Holding at the top and letting go,

Relaxing,

Breathing out through the mouth.

One last time filling up the entire body with air,

Holding and breathing out,

Relaxing your body.

And allow your breath to find its natural rhythm again,

Letting go of any shoulds here.

There's nothing to do,

Nowhere to be right now,

Just taking a moment for yourself,

Taking a moment to stand still.

And then from here we will move into a reflection about this past year,

The year 2025.

Starting off by thinking about the moment of entering this year,

The last New Year's Eve,

Who was there,

What happened,

With what kind of feeling did you start this year?

And then slowly moving through the months of January,

February,

March,

What kind of experiences come up when you think back of these first three months of 2025?

Which people were close to you back then?

How did you feel during these months?

And then continuing with the months of April,

May,

And June,

The spring,

Moving into the summer,

Who was there,

Who comes up in your reflection?

What kind of things did you see?

What did you hear?

What kind of experiences come up for the months of April,

May,

And June of this year?

And then moving further into the months of July,

August,

September,

The summer,

And the end of the summer,

What happened for you in those months?

What kind of experiences,

People,

Emotions come up when you think back of these three months of 2025?

And then bringing to mind the months of October,

November,

And if it already happened,

The month of December,

What happened during these last three months of 2025?

Autumn,

Slowly moving into winter,

How does it feel in your body when you think back of these last three months?

And then just taking a moment to think back of the entirety of 2025.

What kind of hopes did you have for this year?

What kind of dreams,

What kind of wishes?

How did they manifest or not?

What comes up for you when you think back of these last 12 months?

Is there a sense of sadness,

A sense of joy,

Or gratitude?

Maybe the emotion of anger comes up.

What did this year bring for you?

And then imagining yourself on a path,

A path up a hill,

And you walk through this forest,

And this forest is filled with all these memories,

All these experiences from this year.

And you walk through it and you see one experience after the other unfolding,

Bringing up sensations in your body,

Bringing up emotions.

You just acknowledge all of these experiences being there.

And you continue on down this beautiful path,

Uphill,

And you notice that the forest is slowly getting a bit thinner,

There's less and less trees.

And you already start seeing the top of the hill.

It's just kind of a plateau without any trees.

So you walk up there and you have a beautiful view of the surroundings.

And the surroundings are your year 2026.

Now there might already be some plans,

Some dreams,

Some wishes or hopes that you can see from this plateau of this moment.

Maybe there's a travel that you already planned.

Or perhaps an important event that you're going to join.

Or that is happening in your surroundings.

Maybe some of those experiences are a bit more vague than others.

Letting go of any expectations of what this year,

This new year 2026 is going to bring,

And simply taking a moment to notice what is it that I truly need and that I truly wish for,

For this new year.

Noticing what kind of words come up for you.

When you ask yourself the question,

What is it that I truly need and wish for in 2026?

Maybe words such as connection,

Love,

Or calm,

Or adventure come up for you.

Maybe it's completely different things that you need or that you wish for.

Just taking a moment here to view this next year from this plateau of this very moment.

Asking yourself the question,

What is it that I need and wish for,

For 2026?

And just noticing how that feels in your body,

Whatever is coming up.

And then from this experience,

From these needs and wishes for 2026,

Let us slowly come back to this very moment.

The seat that you are on.

Your body making contact with the floor,

The seat beneath you.

Your breath flowing in,

Flowing out.

And taking one more deep breath in through the nose into the belly,

Breathing in.

And out.

Holding at the top and letting go,

Breathing out.

Gently allow your body to wake up again by wiggling your toes,

Slowly moving your fingertips.

And once you're ready,

You can slowly,

Gently open your eyes again.

Welcome back.
