Many Mindful Moments You can begin by finding a comfortable seated position.

Cross-legged on the floor,

Sitting straight up in a chair,

However you feel more comfortable in this moment.

You can begin by taking a few deep breaths to center yourself and bring your attention to the present moment.

As you close your eyes or have them slightly lower looking down past the front of your nose,

Take a moment to scan your body,

Noticing any areas of tension that may arise and just sending breath into those areas,

Releasing any tension that's not serving you in this moment,

Just letting go of any stress built up.

Now you can bring your attention back to your breath,

Feeling the natural rhythm of your breath as you take inhalations and exhalations,

Noticing any sensations as the breath enters and leaves your body,

Allowing yourself to breathe naturally as you're falling into a state of relaxation.

As you continue to breathe,

Bring your awareness to the natural world around you,

Imagining a peaceful natural setting,

And if you are outdoors,

Just feeling the air on your skin,

The sounds in nature,

Focusing on the elements of nature around you,

Visualizing a landscape of a forest,

A beach,

A meadow,

Whatever comes to mind without judgment,

Whatever comes is correct for you.

Without judgment,

Whatever comes is correct for you.

Noticing the colors,

Shapes,

Textures,

Smells,

Allowing your senses to engage in the vision.

Do you feel the warmth of the sun or the coolness in the breeze?

Do you hear birds chirping?

Whatever natural sounds that you hear in this present moment,

Still continuing to breathe,

Still continuing to breathe.

You can allow a smile to come upon your face.

Now allowing your attention to rest on one of the elements of nature that you see.

Maybe it's a cloud in the sky,

A beautiful flower,

A tree with leaves blowing in the wind.

Observing it without judgment,

What details do you see?

Appreciating this beauty of nature,

Without wanting to change anything.

As you continue to breathe,

Imagining with each inhale,

You're drawing in the essence of nature,

Feeling connected with the natural world.

And as you exhale,

Releasing any distractions that are not serving you.

Taking a few more deep breaths,

Gradually bringing your awareness back to your surroundings.

Back to your surroundings.

Bringing this connectedness with you throughout the day.

This is coming to an end.
