Hello beautiful souls.

Hope you're doing wonderful today.

Today I'm gonna be guiding you through a meditation just so we can appreciate our body as it does so much for us each day.

So just take a moment to get comfortable.

If you are driving be careful.

Don't close your eyes.

Be aware.

Now just sit with your body.

Check in with yourself.

Taking time to pause and just connect.

Scanning your body.

Seeing how you feel.

Feeling yourself,

Your chest rising and falling.

Pay attention to the rhythm of your breath as you inhale.

Exhale.

Again just inhaling.

Exhale.

Just becoming comfortable.

Now just take a moment to just disconnect from any mind chatter that might be going on.

Whatever overthinking and just scattering thoughts that could prevent us from engaging with our physical body today.

Then with a few deep breaths let your thoughts clear.

Take a deep breath in.

And out.

Again deep breath in slowly.

And exhaling.

Just settling in to your body.

Anytime you feel your thoughts drifting you can just come back to your breath.

Just taking a moment.

Whatever amount of time that's needed for you to get re-centered.

Now taking a moment I want you to connect with your head.

Moving to your forehead and then just scanning your face.

All the complexities and the beautiful features and everything of your face and your head.

First I want you to consider your eyes.

Just take a moment and consider your eyes and how important they are to you.

Everything that they take in.

How they help you identify faces,

Internalize information and appreciate the beauty that you see or that you sense with your eyes.

As no pair of eyes are exactly alike,

Your eyes are completely unique.

Like some beautiful snowflakes falling from the sky.

They're all different.

As you just reach out your hand and just see their beauty as they melt away.

Consider the beautiful colors and the intricate dimensions of their eyes.

And connect with your ears too.

Admiring their dynamic shapes and the ability to listen,

To hear.

As you're even listening to this meditation.

As you fall deeper into a state of relaxation.

As we appreciate our beautiful bodies that we love.

Now in your mind hear yourself saying to yourself as you repeat.

Thank you my eyes.

Thank you my ears.

Now connecting with your nose and your mouth.

Taking a deep breath in through the nose and out through the mouth.

Express much appreciation for the natural filtration system of the nose.

The tiny little hairs that help filter the air that you breathe.

Now offer thanks to your lips,

Your strong teeth,

The tongue that allows you to enjoy every variety of flavor of the foods that you eat.

All the layers of the flavors and complexities.

The deliciousness of the nutrients that we take in.

Repeating thank you my nose.

Thank you my mouth.

As you sit in appreciation.

Now we're moving down the spine.

Feel the strength of these important bones.

The bones that keep your body erect and moving and strong.

As you straighten your head and your neck and your back as well as we're repeating.

Thank you my strong spine.

And thank you my strong back.

Now connect with your arms.

Bringing your attention all the way down to your fingertips.

Connecting with the muscles here and the delicate bones of the hands.

How strong our hands are and all that they do for us each day.

These little muscles are able to do so much for us as we appreciate them so much.

As we repeat.

Thank you arms.

Thank you hands.

As we show our appreciation.

Now shifting your attention to your chest now.

Once again as we notice the gentle rise and fall of our chest and abdomen as we breathe.

Taking some more extra deep breaths.

Deep breath in.

Deep breath out.

You take some more deep breaths as we go in.

As we further fall into the state of calmness and serenity as we appreciate the strength of our body as it takes care of us each and every day.

You feel your heart beating in harmony with the rhythm of your breath as you inhale and exhale.

As our heart does so much for us.

Its strength as we love our heart as it loves us back.

Repeating.

Thank you lungs.

Thank you heart.

Bring the attention to your abdomen now.

The core of your heart.

Bring the attention to your abdomen now.

The core of the body.

Now breathe into it considering all of the organs that make up your strong core.

The stomach and intestines are the many important jobs and functions.

As all these organs have such intricate capabilities to keep us thriving.

Repeating now.

Thank you core.

Thank you stomach.

As we sit in appreciation.

Moving down to the legs.

Feel the strong bones here and the muscles here.

The muscles that help you walk.

Connect with your feet.

Appreciating every tiny little intricate muscle and bone here.

As it is in our hands as well.

And repeat.

Thank you legs.

Thank you feet.

Just taking a moment to take some more deep breaths in.

As we sit in appreciation.

Keep breathing in.

And out.

Sometimes when we connect with the body we become critical.

You may have noticed your mind drifting into judgment as you explore your body today.

If so,

Take a few moments to return to the areas where appreciating your body was a little bit of a challenge.

If so,

Take a few moments to return to the areas where appreciating your body was a little bit of a challenge.

Sit with these body parts and allow any and all thoughts to surface.

Good,

Bad or in between.

Pay attention to what comes up.

Now clear the mind once again using the breath.

Creating a blank slate.

Making room for appreciation.

Clearing away any dark thoughts,

Doubts or negative self-talk.

And seeing your body for what it truly is.

A remarkable vehicle.

A true gift.

That takes care of you and helps nourish you.

Your body protects you.

It nourishes you.

It allows you to experience everything that life has to offer.

Take a few moments to treasure it.

All of it.

Your body is unique and glorious.

Love your imperfectly perfect self.

It allows you to experience everything that life has to offer.

Take a few moments to treasure it.

Appreciating it for its uniqueness and divine beauty.

Feeling appreciation flowing from the top of the head.

To the spine.

Down into the arms and your fingertips.

Spreading through your chest and your abdomen.

Down into your legs and your feet.

Feeling your whole body glow with gratitude.

Just taking some deep breaths.

Slowly.

Thinking about all the wonderful qualities that you have.

And appreciating your body.

Now begin to let your breath return to a rhythm that is natural to you.

Just easy inhales and exhales.

Start to wiggle your little fingers and your toes.

And open your eyes when you're ready.

With a renewed appreciation for your amazing and unique body.

Thank you for this kind and considerate meditation. I have been taught to hate my body from a very young age. Reclaiming peace with my own body is still an ongoing process. Thank you for your help.
