You can use this two-minute anger release anywhere.
Just make sure you're somewhere where you can turn your attention within and not be distracted.
It can be used for pent-up anger or other emotions that are affecting your relationships,
Your peace of mind,
Even your sleep and your health.
Just imagine being up on a moor and entirely alone with a strong wind blowing.
And now begin to express what you're feeling into the wind,
But do it internally.
Shout it,
Scream it,
Rage it,
Thump it,
Stamp it.
Whatever is needed,
Just give it some.
Give it all the energy it needs into the wind.
And if you need to bring someone up there and direct all this at them,
Do you know that's absolutely fine.
It's harmless.
Just go for it.
Release all the energy,
All the anger with all your might.
And you may notice now the energy has changed.
It may still be anger or it may be something else like sadness now.
So just express all this into the wind too.
Sob it,
Sigh it,
Scream it,
Howl it.
And now turn your attention within again.
And notice how you are feeling.
There may be another emotion or you may be left calm.
Either go on expressing what's here or if it's calm,
Then just sit in the calm for a moment.
And then continue your day.
