This short meditation introduces a mantra attributed to Julian of Norwich. It draws the attention away from the thoughts to your body and your breath. You will asked to lengthen your outbreath slightly which is calming and then begin repeating the mantra "All will be well'. As you focus on this mantra and your breath your thoughts will quieten and your body relax.

I am Clare Walters,

Founder of the Walters Method,

TWM.

TWM is an elegant and effective toolkit for freeing you from whatever is blocking you from your inner wisdom and your inner power.

If you practice often,

You will become gentler with yourself and others,

Feel calmer and safer and be clearer about your current purpose in life.

This meditation is perfect for anxiety.

I have to give credit to Julian of Norwich for these words and this mantra.

So settle into your chair and be aware of your feet on the ground.

You might wiggle your toes or press your left foot followed by your right foot into the floor and just be aware of the ground beneath you.

And now be aware of your bum on the chair and the support that this offers you.

Allow your spine to arise nice and tall from that firm base and now take your attention to your breathing.

Notice your ribcage rise and fall as you breathe and begin counting.

Count in for 3 and out for 5.

In for 3,

Out for 5.

In for 3,

Out for 5.

And continue this cycle for a few breaths,

Noticing the feel of your clothes against your skin as you breathe.

And on your next exhale,

Just say to yourself internally,

All will be well.

All will be well.

All will be well.

Continue this cycle for a few breaths.

And when your attention gets drawn to a thought,

Just notice the thought and say to it,

All will be well.

And deliberately turn your attention back to your breath,

Your ribcage,

Your mantra.

All will be well.

You may need to repeat this often.

All will be well.

And with your next in-breath,

Take a bigger breath and shrug your shoulders.

And as you breathe out,

Release your shoulders and release any holding in your shoulders.

Saying,

All will be well.

And all manner of things will be well.

And then once again noticing your chair beneath you,

The support it's offering.

And your feet on the ground.

And your whole body on the chair.

Be aware of your whole body.

And now become aware of your room.

Open your eyes.

And continue your day.

Thank you.
