This mini talk shares a loving reminder that you don’t need to escape being overwhelmed or fix yourself. With the 3 Principles understanding, we come to see that peace isn’t something we earn. It’s something we return to. This is a perspective shift, not a technique.

Here's a few minutes to reconnect with truth from a three principles perspective.

Perhaps right now you're feeling overwhelmed,

So first of all I lovingly invite you to breathe.

Just take a couple of really deep breaths in and out and you might want to continue doing that while I talk to you about overwhelm.

It can really look,

Can't it,

That overwhelm is coming from our list,

The number of things we think we have to get done.

And maybe that's a place to notice the language around that,

That you have to get done,

That you should get done.

There's a sense isn't there that we have to do it all now,

When in actual fact we just have to do one thing,

The next thing,

The thing that makes the most sense.

When we're feeling overwhelmed it can feel like we're lost,

Like we've lost ourselves.

The sensations can be so strong in our bodies.

Just maybe notice your breath again.

But here's some reassurance that despite you feeling so overwhelmed,

You're okay.

You don't have to do anything to make that feeling go away.

It will pass on its own and it will particularly pass if you see the nature of the thought that's creating that awful feeling.

The thought that says you've got to do it all now and you don't.

The feeling of urgency.

It can feel like a panic,

Can't it,

When in actual fact really the only thing that's ever urgent is if we've got to save somebody's life or put a fire out.

None of the things on your list are really urgent.

And I invite you to remember,

Remember who you truly are beneath all that noise,

Because it is just noise.

The feeling is noise.

That feeling in your body is a beautiful gift,

A warning to let you know that you're thinking a lot of things that are not true.

Like you've got to do all those things on that list.

Have you noticed how sometimes the things on your list just disappear all by themselves?

The need to do them completely dissolves.

So that's the only invitation today in this three principles perspective.

Just to notice,

To drop into that space of awareness,

That space that is who you truly are.

You're not your thoughts,

You're not your emotions.

You are universal intelligence,

The energy of nature,

The aliveness.

I hope that's helpful.

Take care.

Lots of love.
