This short, reflective talk points to a central 3 Principles truth that peace isn’t something to find. It’s what’s already there beneath the chase. Whether you’re chasing through achievement, spiritual practice, or control, what you seek is actually already within you. This is a perspective shift, not a technique.

Here's a few minutes to reconnect with truth from a three principles perspective.

We've all grown up in a world that tells us that peace comes from the outside.

Now that can take many different forms,

Can't it?

We can seek peace in achieving the next step on the ladder in our career,

Getting a number of clients in our business,

A relationship,

Even food and drink.

Now perhaps as we're all innocently going through our lives we might not actually realise even that we are seeking peace.

We might call it something else,

Perhaps happiness,

Contentment,

Just a sense of mental well-being.

But that is the fundamental human driver.

It's feeling better,

Feeling better than we feel right now.

Now I've just mentioned a lot of things that we can do in the outside world in the chase for peace,

But even our spiritual seeking can become another one of these chases.

The idea that if we do the right tools and techniques or the right number of hours of this technique or another,

That we will reach some kind of state of peace.

The issue with that is that it's fundamentally grounded in what I call the outside in misunderstanding,

Which is the idea that any kind of feeling we have,

Whether that be peace or something at the opposite end of the emotional spectrum,

Comes from outside when it doesn't.

Whenever we're not feeling peaceful or content or happy,

That's because of our thinking.

The thoughts that we believe in the moment create our emotional state.

We're never feeling our circumstances,

We're always feeling thought in the moment.

It doesn't take very much curious experimentation and open awareness to see this in many,

Many aspects of our life.

Even just sitting watching a movie with another person can be interesting,

As we might notice they go through a different emotional journey to us,

Despite watching exactly the same movie as us.

The thing about peace is that peace is what is underneath all this thinking.

Peace is innate.

It doesn't need to be created or found outside of us.

It's actually the truth of who we are.

And that's what the invitation here is in this three principles conversation.

A quiet invitation to stop and remember what's true.

The truth is that peace is inherent.

It's who you really are underneath the noise of all that thinking.

And when we're seeking peace out there,

We may have a little bit more thinking than otherwise.

I hope you found this short track helpful in seeing the truth that you are already peace,

Love and wisdom,

And the ability to create the illusion that you are not,

Through your thinking and the thoughts you believe in the moment.

Take care.

Lots of love.
