In this session, we’ll meet the part of you that quietly believes, “What’s the point?” The one who braces for disappointment before anything even begins. The Fatalist learned that hope hurts, so it chose numbness over heartbreak, detachment over desire. The second part transitions seamlessly into an inaudible subliminal healing track. While you may not hear the words, your subconscious will. This deeply restorative layer clears what the questions may have stirred, and gently integrates new, supportive beliefs. It’s important to listen until the end; the final minutes include a unique “Saving Procedure,” much like the save button on your computer. It ensures your inner shifts are locked in, safely stored, and ready for you to access with ease in your everyday life.

Take a deep breath.

Relax now.

You don't have to convince yourself it's all meaningless.

You don't have to brace for disappointment before anything even begins.

You don't have to be the one who gives up first just to feel prepared.

In this session,

Let's welcome the fatalist.

Can you remember when it first felt like things would never change?

Like trying was pointless?

When did it stop feeling safe to hope?

And start feeling smarter to expect the worst?

What have you been trying to protect me from?

Is it from devastation?

Heartbreak?

False promises?

What's it like to live inside a story that always ends badly,

Even before it begins?

What do you tell yourself when a new opportunity comes?

When love shows up?

When a spark of joy begins to rise?

What are you most afraid would happen if we believe things could get better?

What do you wish I truly understood about your need to keep expectations low?

Your fear of being caught off guard?

I see you.

I see the weariness in you.

The part that got tired of holding on.

Tired of believing.

Tired of hoping.

I see how hope once rose.

And was crushed.

How something once mattered deeply.

And was lost.

And how,

Ever since,

You've been trying to shield me from ever feeling that again.

You didn't become the fatalist.

Because you're cold or cynical.

You became it because watching dreams die hurt too much.

And it felt safer to expect a crash than to be surprised by it.

You learned.

If I stop believing,

I can't be let down.

You learned.

If I detach,

I can't be devastated.

If I expect the worst,

I'll never be surprised.

Thank you for trying to keep me from the pain of false hope.

Thank you for mourning the dreams we buried.

Even if you did it by pretending not to care.

Thank you for the loyalty behind your despair.

Thank you for whispering warnings.

Even when all we wanted was wonder.

I love you.

I am so sorry.

Please forgive me.

I love you.

I am so sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

You know,

I'm here now.

I've learned that hope doesn't have to be loud or naive.

That quiet faith grounded trust.

Gentle believing are just as powerful.

That not everything ends in loss.

And some things begin again in ways we never expected.

That I can move forward with gentle faith.

Not because everything is guaranteed.

But because I am ready.

You don't have to drag us into the dark.

To protect us from being blinded by light.

You can walk with us.

As one who watches the sky shift slowly.

Not as one who curses the sun for not rising fast enough.

Let's make peace with the wound you've been guarding.

The one that thought protecting us from hope was protecting us from harm.

Let's release the belief that preparing for the worst is the only way to stay safe.

And that hope is only a set up for suffering.

Can you see how even with your fierce devotion.

We've sometimes stopped living.

Long before anything ever went wrong.

Can you see how despite your fierce devotion.

We've missed moments of joy.

Love.

Connection.

Because we were so sure they wouldn't last.

Can you imagine what it might feel like to say yes to life.

Even with its risk.

Even with its mess.

Have there been moments you wished you could hope again.

But felt foolish.

What has it cost us.

Emotionally.

Relationally.

Spiritually.

To live as if we're already defeated.

What would help you feel safe.

Holding even a flicker of possibility.

What would help you trust that not everything ends in loss.

What would help you feel safe believing.

In something new.

What would help you trust that we can meet life with open hands.

Not just close fists.

If these things felt true.

Would you be open to a new role.

Not as the fatalist.

As the one who honors the past.

And allows for a future.

I would love your help in choosing presence over prediction.

I would love your support in finding courage.

Even when we don't know what's next.

I would love your presence as we learn to move forward.

Not with pressure.

But with peace.

Are you with me.

Let's give you a new name today.

Instead of the fatalist.

What would you like me to call you.

Excellent.

Because even you.

Especially you.

Once believed in something.

Thank you.

You are safe with me now.

I love you.

You are safe with me now.

You are safe with me now.

You are safe with me now.

You are safe with me now.

You are safe with me now.

You are safe with me now.

You are safe with me now.

You are safe with me now.

You are safe with me now.

You are safe with me now.

You are safe with me now.

You are safe with me now.

You are safe with me now.

You are safe with me now.

You are safe with me now.

You are safe with me now.

You are safe with me now.

You are safe with me now.

You are safe with me now.

You are safe with me now.
