Hi and welcome to this self-love meditation.
So often we can think that we are running out of time or we are impatient with how things are working out or maybe you've been in relationships that have been unhealthy and perhaps not working for some time and I wanted to reassure you and often something I share with women who I work with is to really surrender and I'm just going to guide you into this gentle meditation and then allow the words that I share to offer you some comfort,
Some reassurance and guidance and support in trusting that you're exactly where you need to be,
Receiving all the messages and the wisdom that is meant for you right now.
We can compare ourselves to other people or believing that we should have things and some of the things,
Some of that comes from society,
Societal pressures of when things should happen or by what age and I really feel that self-love is underrated and yeah,
So I'm going to guide you.
Just relax,
Either seated or laying down and the purpose of this is to allow your body to come into a state of safety,
Of relaxation because it's in that state of relaxation that you come to your own answers,
That you come to your own wisdom and really I'm just a doorway to you discovering yourself on a different level and taking a deep breath in through the nose and out through the mouth.
You can let out a sigh,
Allowing the tone to be released from your throat.
Again,
Just breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth.
Feeling your shoulders relax,
Your hands relax,
Your arms relax,
Your stomach relax.
And just breathing for as long as you can in through the nose and exhaling for as long as you can and just keep that pattern of breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth.
And you may get distracted or you just bring yourself back to my voice as I guide you through this awareness,
Self-reflection,
Giving yourself this space which is in itself an act of self-love.
How often we get distracted by things,
People,
Places,
Situations,
Wanting to gather and get our attention and really all the answers are within you.
There is nothing that anyone else can really share with you without you being able to receive and have that awareness,
That knowing within you that it's what you need to hear,
It's what you need to know in order to move forward.
It's what you need to know in order to move forward.
So when you build this self-love which is acceptance of who you are,
Where you are without judgment,
That you wouldn't be where you are without your experiences and all of them bring wisdom and it's okay if you have,
You know,
Lived unconsciously or you're starting to get to know yourself,
There's no pressure,
There's no you should have done this by this time,
It's simply an appreciation for all you've been through,
All you've been through,
For where you are and this self-love is building that respect and honour so that you discover the most authentic version of you and being in that authentic version of you will bring happiness.
It isn't anything a relationship or work or someone else can give you,
It's an inside job.
So even before you meet your soulmate or you have that sacred union with other,
Doing this practice first and letting go and surrendering and trusting that all is as it should be,
That you're building trust,
That you're showing up for you.
You may have experienced a painful ending with a relationship or a job or you're grieving and with any ending there is grief that sometimes we can get attached to the fantasy of how something should be or we want it to be and this is when you need this self-love practice more than ever and it's really listening to what you need,
Letting go,
Giving yourself the space to write or journal or reflect or even the space to contemplate now.
There's nothing that you could have done differently,
It was all meant to happen the way it was meant to happen and yes that can sometimes be painful but also it's a brilliant teacher.
So what have you learned?
What have you learned from your recent experience?
Maybe it's teaching you boundaries where that you didn't love yourself or where you didn't prioritize you but you put everybody else first.
Maybe it's that you need to or get to choose to respect yourself more and with this means that there won't be as much pain in the future because you'll notice it,
You'll notice the potential red flags or you'll notice that sensation within you which this doesn't quite feel right and so what did you learn?
Perhaps you knew you were forcing something or wishing it was different and you were waiting for something to change but it never did and so the disappointment comes in the illusion that we created,
That it could be any different than it was and so now you get to change,
Turn your wounds into wisdom.
You know if you're honest radically maybe it was actually holding you back and maybe you got into a loop of negative habits or dependencies or thought patterns and you couldn't quite see it because when we're in it it's difficult to see the truth because we are often confused maybe with our emotions if we haven't cultivated a relationship with them we can get confused about what the emotion is actually wanting to tell us.
So this act of self-love in this space is to notice what you are feeling and to allow it without any judgment or restriction,
Just expression.
Expression.
Taking a deep breath.
It is in your superpower that you're empathic,
That you are emotional and it's also in your potential to give yourself space to connect with yourself as to what each of those emotions is telling you.
You feel so deeply and that can often feel overwhelming and sometimes we create negative,
Not negative,
Unhealthy patterns,
Unhealthy coping strategies in order to manage all these emotions so this is just a safe space where you can feel and know that the emotions are like a wave they go out and they come back they go out and they come back and it's the resistance which causes persistence.
So giving yourself space to accept and appreciate where you are and just fill yourself with love right now.
Notice where you may have given away your power before.
Notice where you may have believed that you were less than or where you may have lowered your standards for what you thought was love.
So now is the time to reclaim and awaken your wild side.
Without being in fear,
Trusting that all your emotions are welcome and it's safe to express them.
So just noticing any emotions arise in and breathing into them,
Breathing in through the nose,
Breathing in through the nose,
Out through the mouth.
And now I want you to reflect on where you could set some boundaries.
Knowing your energy,
What you need,
What are your needs and how can you start to express them?
Putting yourself first,
This act of self-love,
Knowing what your needs are,
Knowing what is important to you.
So when it comes to it,
You can prioritize you.
Knowing your values is that sign of self-love.
What is it that you are honoring so that you can express yourself in future relationships and your current relationship or with people that you know,
You can share what's important to you and so that you thrive in relationship rather than retract.
So I truly believe that this self-love and creation of this love within you is a practice and there's no rush,
You're not out of time in terms of meeting perhaps a deeper love,
A more faithful,
Appreciative,
Nurturing,
Nourishing love.
And it all comes from setting that boundary,
Setting that standard.
Because when you have a high standard of giving yourself unapologetically,
Unconditionally giving yourself that love,
Then you set a standard,
You set a requirement because you are worthy to receive that,
You are enough and worthy just as you are.
And so creating this sacred space for you to meet yourself at the altar if you choose or a sacred space in your house where you light a candle and feed that appreciation and love and gratitude for your journey,
For where you are,
Where you've been and where you are going and to fall deeply in love with you,
False and all,
And create that space for what is meant for you to arrive.
As it's all part of the grand plan that you are supported in all ways.
So I hope this meditation finds you well and that you are able to meet yourself in a new way,
Release what needed to be released and knowing that you can come back to this practice at any and knowing that you can come back to this practice at any point and this meditation at any time.
Thank you for giving yourself this space today and sending you so much love.
I look forward to speaking to you soon and when you're ready you can wriggle your fingers and wriggle your toes and bring energy back into the body.
Feel free to take some space to journal what came through and to relisten when it feels right.
Thank you for listening and have a beautiful day.
