I am happy to share that I have published my new book.

It is called Art of Clearly Knowing,

The Mindfulness Journey Toward Clarity,

Insight and Freedom.

It is available on Amazon.

As the book description goes,

What is the root of our suffering and happiness?

What is the true nature of our thoughts,

Emotions and feelings?

This book,

Art of Clearly Knowing,

Invites us to take a deep look into the reality of our human condition,

So we can skillfully address our stress,

Anxiety,

Depression and heartaches,

And find our peace,

Joy and freedom.

Over 2600 years ago,

A Buddha systematically diagnosed the root of our suffering,

And offered a cure for it with an insightful framework.

In this book,

I present the teachings of mindfulness and meditation in a modern form,

Along with today's scientific understanding of the mind.

It is written with a deep curiosity for discovering and understanding the truth,

And goes beyond any religious or spiritual trappings.

This book explores the teachings,

Not just philosophically,

But experientially.

It covers concepts and practices towards step-by-step transformative development of clarity and insight.

Let me read a section from this book,

From chapter 3,

Mindfulness,

Section Rising Above.

Like an automaton,

We just follow the instruction according to our genetic and environmental conditioning.

We are trapped in our mind,

And at the mercy of our conditioning.

This is how we get stuck in a loop and mindlessly repeat the same old habitual patterns.

With mindfulness,

We rise above and jump out of these loops,

And hence our conditioning and traps.

Mindfulness allows us to step back and witness the whole from a higher perspective.

It gives a proper distance to look at things clearly,

And a space to hold and process them skillfully.

The key aspect of mindfulness stems from non-attached awareness,

Because the moment we cling to anything,

We are already trapped in it.

Mindfulness offers proper self-monitoring,

Which leads to natural self-regulation.

Self-monitoring offers a higher level intelligence,

So we can witness our thoughts,

Emotions and feelings as mental objects and get to know their true nature.

Self-regulation gives flexibility that leads to skillful response,

Rather than mindless reaction.

It naturally helps us to self-regulate our bodily and mental states toward our well-being.

When we try to psychoanalyse,

We are still within the bounds of the mind,

And there is no end to the mind-made problems.

With our egoic mentality,

We think we can solve all our problems by thinking hard,

And hence we are addicted to thinking.

Rather than solving our problems,

Addictive thinking becomes a huge problem that destroys our peace and joy and clarity.

In reality,

Most of our problems are merely mind-made,

But they seem very real because how they make us feel.

Therefore,

We buy into them and make them powerful.

As we cultivate mindfulness,

We rise above and learn to witness and calm abide.

Gradually this allows us to go beyond and find our freedom.

As long as we are trapped inside the mind,

All our problems seem big and complicated.

Hence we tend to seek equally complicated or mysterious solutions.

In reality,

Most of our problems are mind-made illusions.

Hence our real solution depends on cultivating mindfulness to see through them just as they are.
