I'm Reverend Cindy Pollitz and I wanted to talk about something that has been extremely valuable to me and might be for you,
And that is having an inner communication with yourself,
Your higher self,
And for me also with my soul and with God.
Now any level of this inner communication is important and valuable.
So some people have a hard time with the word God and I respect that and understand that,
But for me it's a very important part of my life and it certainly has guided and directed me in amazing ways.
But any inner communication,
It can be enhanced and improved by having a meditation experience and by having that inner connection within yourself to your,
You call it your soul,
Or that part within you that kind of knows you,
That you know,
That's always there with you,
Never leaving you.
I mean sooner or later you develop that understanding that you have this higher self,
This inner self,
That's always there and it can be so valuable to tap into that and to learn to trust that and to really be guided by that in times when you don't quite know what's going on and what's best to do in your life.
Now,
Gosh,
When I was much,
Much younger,
I guess I was a teenager,
I used to do tarot and I did all those things,
You know,
And I found that that was not as valuable and actually I stopped doing it years and years and years ago because we can with our mind,
We can direct the way we want the answers to be.
It's a tricky thing because our mind is very powerful and we have our ego involved as well and we want certain things to be a certain way and I found that definitely be true when doing tarot reading or doing any kind of readings that way that your mind can influence and your ego and your personality can influence what you wish to be the outcome of life and things.
But the hard reality is your ego and that part of you that that is wishing certain things doesn't always know what's really going on and what's really best for you.
Now,
There's a difference between that level of you that wants what you want and that part of you that is your soul that's seeing your life from a much different perspective than your ego.
Are you following me so far?
Your soul isn't influenced in the same way your ego is influenced.
Your soul is an overview.
Your soul is with you your entire life and beyond and life in my experience,
Life after life after life.
Your soul is that all presence.
It's always there and will always guide you and always direct you from the to onward and onward and onward to the end and beyond that.
So it's a really important thing to have a relationship and to have a communication as well with your soul and that is done by many people in prayer and it's done by many people in just quiet contemplation.
It's done in so many ways and often it's used and sometimes it can speak to you through your dreams.
You will recognize a soul level dream by one that is much more dynamic and one that you remember for a very very long time.
Very different than a personality dream you know typical dream that's from the subconscious.
So how do you develop that relationship with your soul?
Well you learn to trust it.
You learn that in the quiet contemplative self part of you that if you have as I do a daily meditation and that if you are totally always open and will ask for that connection then you will develop that trust and that faith and those for me I use it through writing meditations and I do a meditation then I write down things that come.
Now as much as I've meditated which has been for over gosh 55 years that still I sometimes don't know in my conscious mind too clearly what my soul is saying.
It can get clouded pretty easily by a lot of things in your subconscious but I have also learned to be able to use that vehicle of writing and writing down what comes to me as a kind of channel that comes to me with really valuable messages day in and day out.
I write after I meditate.
Now that might be a wonderful tool for you.
I really highly recommend you consider that tool to connect with your soul to make any inner connection and bring it to your conscious mind because our conscious mind isn't always working at the highest of levels.
Our conscious mind is there to get us through the day and it's like okay what are we going to wear,
Do I have to go shopping today,
What is on this,
I gotta do that,
What's gonna work and so the conscious mind's pretty full all the time and then we add on to it what we see on movies or tv or what we see around us etc etc and now social media of course a lot of that stuff is in there so it's got a lot of clearing to do to get clear to the point where you have a clear connection to your soul.
That's why meditation is so very very valuable because it gives a chance for your whole levels of your consciousness to be cleared out to be more connected to that higher level.
You're in meditation and you are going to that place inside in the silence giving yourself a chance to be still and know that highest part of you.
For me also to be still and know that God within,
To be still and know that and tap into that amazing regenerative and renewing process that restoration that happens,
The restoration that happens from that high level is a very wonderful tool to tap into on a regular basis on a very,
It's just a,
It's more valuable than so many other things you may do in the course of a day so I always recommend developing this relationship with your highest self for guidance,
For understanding,
For love,
For a little light on the path.
It's if you've done this and known this you know what I'm talking about if not it takes some time to develop that relationship and that trust with the highest part of yourself.
So if you go into meditation you just can go in simple it doesn't have to be at all anything big or challenging it's just taking a few deep breaths and being comfortable and clearing your mind out and letting everything else just go and to be in that safe sacred place within and just allow yourself to be in that wonderful connection,
That connection with your soul,
That connection that will guide you with light and love on a daily basis and you just allow that to begin and it's like any relationship you develop you have to learn how to communicate with your soul and it isn't always a matter of you just talking to your soul you know prayer is often just asking for help and guidance but meditation for me has been listening being still enough and quiet enough to listen to the answers because it can be and it is often if you allow it will be a relationship that is not just one way with you talking and you asking but allowing the answers to come allowing that guidance to come and trusting that process enough to let that guidance be with you enough where you will listen and hear and believe in the trust of the what can come.
So as we breathe deeply we go within and we just be silent and we just aware aware of our soul level and sometimes you might see the colors change when your eyes are closed you might see a brighter light come and you might feel the touch of energy sometimes you'll actually sense that presence when you welcome that presence allow yourself to sense that present right here right now that amazing presence of that energy from your soul and if you wish to ask a question as a prayer as a question from your mind if you wish to ask for guidance you can do so in a wonderful communication and conversation just make it clear very clear what's there that you would like some guidance and some help on some connection with some insight perhaps and allow that insight to be received on any level and on all levels that you can clearly receive it breathe into it giving it the space to be with you feel that presence and give yourself enough time to receive whatever you need to receive and when you feel comfortable slowly come out slowly come out and just be grateful and say thank you thank you for being there with me thank you for your communication with me thank you for your guidance in my life and just be here and grateful in this sacred time and space and as you come out of meditation now allow yourself the time to just either type something down write something down and remember to say thank you to that inner part of you that soul that that true part of you that is there thank you thank you thank you thank you for the guidance thank you for the connection thank you and i will say thank you god and i wish you the highest blessing of that inner connection to be with you every day in every way that will help you in your life
