Hello,

I'm Reverend Cindy Palos and I had a request to do a talk on the Holy Spirit.

And it's a very deep subject and it's often confused with the presence.

So I thought today I'd give a talk on the presence and the Holy Spirit and then have a chance to experience that because we can call on the Holy Spirit.

So here's the question,

Can you feel the presence?

I believe you can in meditation.

There's definitely,

It's a sort of energy,

It's a grace,

It's a feeling that is almost like wearing a special veil.

And I feel it as sometimes a breath or a slight breeze of energy coming.

It's invisible but it's full of energy and often I will see a dove or a bird or a presence or hear the dove or the bird as that presence.

So what is the Holy Spirit?

That was a question I received.

Holy Spirit is the presence of God Himself.

So God of course,

If we get into that,

It's a huge,

Huge feeling.

What is God?

Well,

God is often called just love.

But unconditional,

Brilliant,

Unbelievable love,

The love that is the source of all creation.

And of course still people have problems with the word God.

Many people do.

They relate it to religion,

They relate it to an image of an old man,

They relate it to many things that is not what God is but is a symbol of God.

But if we take the most undisputable definition of God as love and God as that force in the word of light and we imagine how that spirit works,

It's a very mystical,

Mysterious thing.

The presence of God is oftentimes a central goal in people's lives to experience that union and presence of God.

However,

God is with us all the time.

It couldn't be any other way.

We are all part and particles of that one brilliant light,

That one unconditional love that is God.

We all come from that central force that created the universe.

And in that we're all one.

But the thing is there's so many deep layers.

There's an infinite amount of dream manifestations participating in various identities.

So that's where meditation is so valuable.

But all of those meditations should connect us with that energy,

That light,

That love within us.

And when you experience that,

You're experiencing that presence,

That presence of God within.

It's not only an objective.

It's a path that is a journey that we follow.

In the Bible,

David proclaimed,

In your presence there is fullness of joy.

At your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

Now that was how David experienced that in Psalms.

He said that.

So if we can push everything else away and go to that center,

Right there,

That core within and experience that fullness,

That joy,

It's wonderful in meditation.

But what I've been talking a lot about is not just experiencing that bliss,

That love,

That light in meditation.

But doing as the Christ consciousness,

As the enlightened mind does,

Which is maintaining and working on maintaining that energy throughout your everyday life,

Which is what is so powerful when we look at Christ consciousness and when we look at enlightenment.

Because it's not lost there.

It's held there.

It's centered there and doesn't deviate.

So describing the presence of spirit is a hard thing to do,

Right?

So if we look at that powerful way we can feel that spirit within,

Then we can find a way to recognize it and honor it when it is there in the presence,

When we are in that presence in meditation.

Now the difference between manifest presence of the Holy Spirit and God's omnipresence is that God's omnipresence is always there despite the fact that we cannot always feel it.

In other words,

God's presence is everywhere.

He's in everything at all times and with all of us.

And likewise,

His Holy Spirit indwells within us when we can connect with it.

But we can invite that Holy Spirit to come into our consciousness to be aware of it.

We can call upon the Holy Spirit,

We can call upon that divine love and it's a very subtle energy.

So that's where it takes going within and going into that place within where you can be silent and experience it yourself.

And it's really powerful if you can experience it and then when you get through with your meditation,

Remember how it felt.

I do this by meditating as I have every day of my life since I've been 14.

I write down what comes to me and I have had,

Of course,

Thousands and thousands and thousands of messages that come in the form of poems,

But they're also teachings and they are also from that presence.

I wrote one of these messages here to share with you.

So all-encompassing is this breath of life,

So welcoming this heart of God,

So enlightened is this spirit that embraces us with love.

Is it even possible to behold all that comes with the many blessings that this precious presence brings?

Awaken,

Awaken,

Dreamers,

To the expansion of your mind.

Open up your heart and soul and see what's waiting there deep inside.

Welcome the Holy Spirit in the light and the miracles that come from the energy of the Father and Mother God and the Blessed Divine Son.

Let your prayers sing praises.

Let the angels hear.

Let their wings enfold you as they watch over you here.

Let your words bring forth the light of God's true love so you can share the truth of truth,

The healing power that comes with that light and that love.

So this is part of what I get and you can also do it.

It's a very good practice because when we write down what comes to us in meditation,

We're building a bridge.

It's called in by some the antichorana,

Which is the bridge from the inner self,

The soul,

To the highest level of consciousness.

And that bridge is very,

Very handy because it's easier to do to get to that space when we do this daily.

Let's do a meditation on awakening that awareness of the presence and the Holy Spirit.

Take a deep breath in,

Hold it for a few seconds,

Let all your thoughts go and now breathe out,

Release anything that is thinking,

Any thought and you just let it go.

Leave a space inside.

Open up that door to Spirit by having a place where Spirit can enter.

Breathe in again and let's call upon the Holy Spirit.

Let's let that wonderful light and that presence be with us right now.

Let's breathe in that wonderful,

Precious Spirit.

Feel it.

Be still.

Absorb and know it.

Welcome it and the miracles that come from this blessed energy of the indefinable God within.

Absorb the love of this divine presence.

Become aware with each breath of light.

Your consciousness is being filled and is being filled with this energy that can transform you into that light being.

Your light body is very sensitive to this energy of the Spirit and the soul.

So let that light body you have be full of this light and love and let every breath you breathe bring more of this light body,

Fall of that light and love right into every single cell,

Every single particle of your very body.

Be aware that you can just be with this presence.

With every single heartbeat,

With every single breath,

You can allow this presence to fill you.

Let it root and take root in your heart and soul.

Let it come into your heart and blossom there.

See that blossom fed by the presence of love.

Feel that love healing all the deep places all there within your heart.

Feel your soul awakening to the light of that presence.

The soul knows and is aware when the presence is present.

Intune yourself to be aware of that presence and become eternally in tuned with that presence.

Ask for the presence to be with you always.

Breathe the spirit of that presence in.

Merge with it now till you are united with it.

Look to the source that is the spirit of the presence,

That spirit of God,

The Holy Spirit.

Know that you are always able to call upon this Holy Spirit and that you can express this spirit in your very being.

Now let's do a visualization.

See yourself holding forth an empty chalice that reflects a holy light.

Hold that chalice up to the very source of all that God's holy presence and ask for that sacred presence to illuminate your life,

To fill your chalice with that light and love.

See the brilliance of this light of all lights pouring that light into the chalice.

And now that chalice is full and it pours forth that light and love into your soul,

Into your light body,

Filling it with the holy presence.

Be receptive and allow that light and love to come into your very,

Every single part of your cell in your body,

Your mind and your soul,

Your entire being.

And allow this pure light to be present in you as the way,

The truth and the life.

A presence that overcomes any darkness.

A presence that is always there for you with the pure power from the source of God that can guide you every single day.

Say thank you God,

Thank you Spirit,

Thank you that divine energy.

And I'll read one more prayer I wrote and a message I got.

How do you feel the presence?

Can you visualize what the unseen spirit is?

Can you ask it to come into your life or is it blocked by questions in your mind?

Can you hold that sacred chalice high up to heaven's shore to find that fountain that brings eternal light so that you can be baptized in this energy and be restored to eternal life?

There is the magic of Spirit,

That invisible presence of the Master here.

And when you feel it with you,

You know you are not alone and its blessings can appear.

For it whispers in the wind and it dances in the clouds.

It can be seen in mirrors and in the beauty of nature's shroud.

Create the presence and welcome the mysteries of its familiarity.

It is the muse of all muses.

It is the Holy Spirit,

It is the prayer unheard that can set you free.

It is the love that infuses that spark that lights the soul that leads you to see the shadow of God and the Holy Spirit that sets you free.

Now we are slowly coming back into our conscious reality.

You remember to remember the feeling that you had of the presence,

The feeling you had of that light,

The feeling you had of that Spirit within the Spirit,

The Spirit of God,

The Holy Spirit.

And I am going to close this talk with the Aramaic version of the Lord's Prayer.

Avung de Boshmaia,

Ni te gadaa shashamaa.

Te te melkuta,

Na wey te sevinak a kanaa te Boshmaia o baraha.

Haldan lakmaa de sunkanin yamanaa.

Boshvokan auqbein,

Aikanaa da pashakinaa haa yabein.

Ula talan onisiyonaa,

Ela pesan min bisha.

Me tal de laki maukuta,

Uu haila,

Uu tish bakta.

Laa alam amin,

Amen.

As we say in Uwai,

A mama,

A mama,

Ua noa,

The prayer is freed.

I thank you so much for being here and listening.

And I hope that brought some answers if you had questions about the Holy Spirit and the presence.

May that Spirit bless you always.
