And I'm going to talk about feeling good by using gratitude.
Gratitude is such a wonderful tool.
It's like turning on a light bulb in a dark room,
And you know what?
It's good to feel good.
Research has shown that if you consciously practice gratitude,
You can reduce feelings of stress and anxiety,
And you can also feel an increase in happiness.
Many people felt 35% reduction of depressive symptoms.
So yes,
Yes,
Yes,
Gratitude can make you feel good and happy,
And it can help improve your relationship with yourself,
And it can help overtake the expressions of depression.
It can,
Again,
Shine that light bulb in a darkened room.
You know what's really interesting about gratitude?
It's very simple,
But what it does is it changes your focus of your mind into a place where you're seeing the good.
You're seeing the good that's there present in your life,
And when you see that good,
And you're actually grateful for something that is good,
And believe me,
There's many,
Many,
Many,
Many things you can choose that are good in your life.
When you experience that,
You change your mindset,
And you change your heart set as well.
And if any of you have experienced heart math,
It's great to connect the dots there with your heart and your mind.
And we're going to do a bit of that gratitude practice here,
Doing this energy of being in that state of gratefulness,
Of gratitude,
While also breathing.
And on top of just that,
We're going to also allow ourselves to let that light that we're feeling in our heart shine a little brighter,
Be a little more present,
And allow that light to come in through that wonderful key of gratitude.
And I think you'll find it will help the self-appreciation,
And it'll help with your ability to bless your life.
And when you're feeling this wonderful experience of gratitude,
You'll find that it will bring you into another state of beingness.
It's so easy and so simple,
And it feels so good.
So without further ado,
Let's just take some time to be in that place of gratitude.
First,
Let's relax and get comfortable and allow yourself to be present with your spine,
Erect,
And allow the energy of light to flow through you from your head to your toes,
Allowing that wonderful light to spread above you in a protective energy field of light below you,
Below you,
Below you,
Around you,
On either side of you,
In front and behind you.
So you are in a protective,
Beautiful,
White,
Light energy field right now.
And let's just do this breathing as they do in HeartMath.
Let's just breathe in for five,
And breathing in gratitude,
Holding for a second,
And breathing that out,
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Holding your hand on your heart and breathing through your heart gratitude,
Breathing in,
Holding,
And breathing out.
Feel your heart expanding as you breathe gratefulness in.
Hold it and breathe out.
For a few minutes more,
Let's just breathe into the count of five and out to the count of five while focusing each breath there in your heart of hearts.
You know,
The birds outside,
They do this when I go into meditation,
I love my birds.
Breathing in,
Very grateful to you,
My birdie buddies.
Breathing out,
Feeling the peace there as you just are present in your heart.
And now,
Think of one thing you're grateful for in your life.
Continue to breathe in and out for five,
In,
And for a pause there,
Think of what you're grateful for and allow that energy to fill that beautiful body of yours with gratefulness.
Ah,
Activate that gratefulness with love.
Breathing in,
Feeling that love of what you're grateful for and breathing out.
Now be grateful for your life,
Just breathing in this precious life gratitude for being alive right here and now.
Breathing into five,
Holding,
And breathing out.
Now think of someone that you love or maybe a pet or something that you love and let your heart be full of gratitude as you breathe in,
Hold,
And breathe out.
Be grateful for the fact that you are able to be here right now,
Being present,
Breathing in gratitude and allowing your heart to open up even further and feel that gratitude helping the way your body and your mind feels.
Let's be grateful right now for someone you love,
Breathing in that love and that gratitude for that person in your life and breathing out.
Now pick two more things that you are grateful for right now.
I'm going to just breathe with you and we'll be silent as you dwell in the energy of that gratitude of what you're so grateful for right here and now.
And as you allow yourself to be bathed in the light of gratitude,
How do you feel?
How does your mind feel?
How does your heart feel?
How does your body feel?
Send love to your heart and thank yourself and be grateful for taking the time today to be here now in gratitude.
Thank your head for doing all of the arranging and things it has to do.
And thank your body for carrying you through this life.
And bless this day and all that you've been given and the way you can use it to experience this love and gratitude in your life.
Now slowly,
Slowly,
Slowly come out and just be here now,
Feeling all of that energy absorbed,
Renewing you,
Revitalizing you and restoring you and allow your whole body to feel healed from this energy of being here right now in gratitude.
And you can do this every morning or every night or whenever you feel the need to bring more light into your life,
Remember the gift of gratitude.
