Aloha,

I want to talk to you today about how just being can help,

Especially if you're a Type A kind of person.

Now Type A people can get a bad rap.

I think of myself sometimes as a Type A,

But I don't know,

It's kind of controversial how you define a Type A,

Especially if you think you're Type A.

But I have to say that Type A for me means that you are working hard,

You're trying hard,

Maybe multitasking,

Maybe ambitious,

Have a lot of goals,

You know,

High level energy and sometimes that with that can come high level stress and anxiety and being a workaholic.

I work a lot,

I do,

I have a lot of different jobs and I like working,

I really enjoy creating especially.

But I think that it's really been helped because I meditate every day of my life,

I've been meditating.

So I think that meditation is such a key thing for people who have a lot of work in their life,

Who are doing a lot of things.

It's really helpful to reduce stress and it's also really helpful to increase your focus,

Right?

Because if you are multitasking and trying to do a little this and a little that and want to get all this done,

Then you improve your focus.

And when you improve your focus and concentration,

Then you can get more accomplished and sometimes a lot better.

Also I know meditation increases self-awareness and that also is helpful for people such as myself who are empaths.

With the awareness you become aware of how you're reacting to what's going on and how you're feeling it and how that feeling is then being absorbed or taken in.

And also meditation helps enhancing relaxation.

It's a very useful tool for people like me and other type A's or people who are busy.

But the one thing I realized and I really want to do in just not meditation,

But look into just being.

Because even in meditation,

And this I found out for years and years of meditation,

Even in meditation you can have a lot going on.

Even in mindfulness,

Think about it,

You know,

I mean it is supposed to and it does make you aware,

But you're giving your mind things to do and you're channeling that energy.

So yeah,

You're being aware of how you feel and you're being aware of how you think.

You're being aware of your body,

You know,

You're developing aware of what you're hearing and feeling.

But all of that is letting the mind be busy.

Same way a mantra in some ways is,

Right?

Just saying a word or a phrase over and over gives the mind something to focus on.

But pure beingness,

I mean really pure beingness is kind of beyond all that.

Pure beingness is just truly allowing yourself to totally let go and be.

Totally.

Just,

Just being.

And that is the place where you can the place where you can really relax and you can really just let everything go and let the higher self and God be in control.

And I wrote this poem about that this morning.

All of the questions that come from life's perceptions and what we see and believe bring us the lessons that we need to bring about our awakening.

Dreams we see will reveal the poetry that we feel.

The colors of the infinite rainbow shining forth in our reality to know.

I know that when I am just being I can take a break from doing.

I can take the time to be here in this space of creation.

A smile of bliss from the flower of peace.

Ah,

All the busy things we do to make ourself feel complete and fill in the empty spaces and grapple with our deep needs.

And then with the breath we see petals fall on Buddha's being.

An echo of a dew drop glistening in the sun.

Whispering springtime now has come.

For a moment,

Just a moment,

Be a petal from heaven's blessed flowers.

For just a second and then an hour a breath of our true cause.

The sound of stillness that begs to be empowered and given time to pause.

We might just see the inner cure and the core of what we really are seeking to just embrace our true being.

Now have you done that?

Embraced your true being in meditation,

In life,

And looking at a sunrise when you're walking to just stop walking.

When you're talking to just stop talking.

When you're breathing to pause and to stop breathing.

So let's do this together.

Let's just allow ourself the gift of just being.

Not doing,

Not thinking,

Just being.

And we know that breath sweeps mind so we breathe in and we hold our breath and pause and release and let go of everything.

Pause.

Breathing in,

Holding our breath and ah,

Breathing out and releasing,

Releasing,

Releasing.

Pause.

Breathing in,

Pausing,

Ah,

Breathing out.

Feeling good in just being.

Breathing in and allowing a protective light to go way up above you,

Way up into the sky.

And to pour back down your spine and through you and down your feet and into the earth.

To stretch out from your heart in front of you and back through you and back behind you on either side of you.

You are now in a beautiful cocoon of white beingness.

Feel the energy of just being here now.

Ah,

Just relax and let go.

Going into that place of our soul.

That beautiful,

Beautiful light and love of beingness.

As we're here,

We just allow all of the things that we were doing,

Ah,

To just slip like a silken shawl from our shoulders down.

And in this beautiful place,

The perch of our soul,

We see the blossoms of springtime falling falling from heaven down around our entire being.

Feel the beauty of just being here in your soul right now.

Ah,

How do you feel?

Feel whole.

Feel your core down to your soul.

Let yourself be embraced by this beautiful energy and heal all of anything that you might need to be healing.

Make yourself feel from your soul to your mind,

From your mind to your body.

Let your body be infused with this wonderful beingness of light.

Ah,

Sending it all the way through every cell and every part of your very body.

And now allow yourself to come slowly back.

Body,

Mind,

And soul,

And emotions aligned for your whole well-being.

And remember,

You can always pause.

You can always stop.

You can always choose to just be.

And in that moment,

Bring in that fullness of your being,

That love and the light and the energy and the gift of who you really are.

I thank you for taking the time to be here.

And I send you my love and my blessings.

Allow yourself to be.
