Aloha,
I'm Reverend Cindy Palas and I love meditating and I've been meditating since I've been 13 years old.
It's a long,
Long time.
And I find that of course meditation makes me feel centered and gives me a connection to my soul and to God.
And it helps me with my intention and my motivation.
But all of that can be put to the test in life.
And I find this is really true when Mercury goes into Regigrade.
And in the last year I've seen some very heavy duty Mercuries in Regigrade.
Now we,
Most of us know what Mercury in Regigrade is.
Of course Mercury is the planet of communication.
I work in communication.
I have radio stations and I do radio shows and I do recordings and I talk a lot and do interviews.
And so I know about having to get your communication straight.
It also can block things such as what we have in our schedules and meetings and perhaps you have plans and maybe you're supposed to meet someone and they just can't make it there in time or something happens.
Sometimes we don't make our connections when Mercury is in Regigrade.
And so I find that Mercury in Regigrade is really a time we get put to test.
And if we think about this from a place of a higher picture and a higher understanding,
We have to realize that sometimes we make plans and God laughs.
And so it isn't necessarily our plans or our ego's desire or what we think that is important that can necessarily happen in our time.
And it's so valuable to learn some basic practices to deal with the frustrations that occur when things aren't going as what we may think is they're not going smoothly.
And this is where,
You know,
The rubber meets the road.
This is where we get to really put into use what we get from meditation.
This is where we can also understand how to turn our will over to God and how we can be at peace when there's a lot of stress and strife in our life.
So I thought I'd really talk about this subject from a metaphysical point of view.
And this is something,
Like I say,
That is a lifetime of practice.
But there are some real keys that we can use from our toolbox,
The sacred toolbox of life when we get stumped or stopped in our tracks.
There was a wonderful mystical comedian named Lord Buckley.
He lived many,
Many years ago.
He was before Lenny Bruce.
And he had this great story that he told and at the end of the story,
It was about Jonah and the whale and a kind of very interesting perspective on it.
But he says in there one line that always stuck with me for years.
If you get there and you cannot do it,
There you jolly well are,
Aren't you?
And that's what happens when Mercury goes into retrograde.
You get to someplace and you are not able to do it.
So what do you do?
Well,
From that sacred toolbox,
You remember to breathe because breath sweeps mind.
And locking ourselves like a ram in a fight with what's going on usually doesn't work when you get to that point if you get somewhere and you cannot do it.
That will just keep you getting upset and frustrated and spinning your wheels.
So you breathe.
You breathe in and you ask to change your state of mind and release what's blocking you and you breathe out.
And it can be as simple as breathing in and breathing out five times that unlocks that frustration you feel at that time.
You go into your heart and you just say,
Okay.
Saying okay is another sacred tool from the toolbox of life.
Okay.
Okay.
I'm here.
I cannot do it right now.
Okay.
What does saying okay do?
It means okay,
I accept it.
I'm not battling with it.
I'm not engaging in a fight with this situation.
Just breathing and saying,
Oh,
Okay.
In a way it takes you a step back and gives you a better perspective of the situation.
Also just taking a walk and moving away from the situation strangely enough can really help.
Even if it's just looking out a window or walking out a door and taking a little walk and then coming back at it with a fresh perspective can change that stuckness that we can be in.
And here's another tool from the toolbox.
Go with the flow.
Go with the flow.
You know,
Row,
Row,
Row your boat gently down the stream.
Merrily,
Merrily,
Merrily,
Merrily,
Life is but a dream.
So if you remember that beautiful,
Beautiful childhood little phrase,
Row,
Row,
Row your boat gently down the stream.
Because really life is a dream.
And even though we get into thinking what we're doing is so very important that we have to work it out right then,
Sometimes it's good to just remember this life is a dream and we can go with the flow.
We can redirect that block in the stream and just go where the river flows.
So this is a few of the sacred tools from the toolbox and the final one is really understanding peace.
Peace,
Be still.
Right?
If you just say to yourself when you're getting upset and frustrated,
Peace,
Be still.
I'm here.
I'm with you.
Everything is okay.
I will go with the flow.
I'll work it out.
And I have usually found that if you're really there and you cannot do it,
There's someone who can help you.
There's someone you can ask for help to get past that stuckness.
Now it could be your inner guides,
You know.
You could ask for help there or you could know someone who can help you out.
But remember that in the end everything does work out.
We may be delayed,
We may be stuck,
But in the higher picture of things that's the small stuff and don't sweat the small stuff.
Right?
And we'll put that in the sacred toolbox as well.
Don't sweat the small stuff.
And it's all small stuff.
Now we're going to take a little meditation here to experience peace.
And once you have this feeling of peace there within you,
Then you can integrate that feeling of going with the flow and peace.
And you can go back to that feeling,
That state of mind,
Of peace.
And that beautiful prayer that was said by St.
Francis of Assisi,
Lord,
Make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred,
Let me sow love.
Where there is injury,
Pardon.
Where there is doubt,
Faith.
Where there is despair,
Hope.
Where there is darkness,
Light.
And where there is sadness,
Joy.
Let's breathe in that energy of being an instrument of peace.
Because when we are aligned as an instrument,
We are not working from our ego.
We are just allowing that light and love of the presence of God to work through us.
So let's breathe this in and go to that place of peace within.
The I am that I am presence.
Allow that beautiful sense of the presence to touch your heart and your soul.
Feel that frustration and that energy of darkness and illusion just slip away.
And realize that you can be an instrument for peace.
That you can go with the flow.
Imagine yourself right now just going with the flow.
Imagine yourself in this beautiful chariot,
Golden beautiful boat.
This river of life is flowing and you're in this beautiful golden chariot,
This boat just flowing with the river.
Just allowing yourself to be carried.
You are not in control.
The boat is being directed by the current from the source of all life.
And just feel how it feels to not have to put that doing energy into flowing on this river of life.
Feel how perfect it feels when you don't have to be in control.
You can release yourself and just trust in this beautiful boat to carry you down this stream.
And as you let go of being in control,
You notice how peaceful,
How beautiful it is.
How beautiful the water is around you.
How it reflects the light and sparkles.
How beautiful the shoreline is.
And you now just go into that place of peace.
And know that you can be in that light of peace where you are an instrument of God's love.
You see the light shining on you from the one source that is eternal.
And you just let go of anything that makes you weary and frustrated and you go to that place of peace.
And here in this place of peace you can rest and be restored.
Here is that place that you've been searching to find.
And all energy that blocks you is gone.
And you are in that place that you've been craving for.
Knowing that all is okay.
All is well.
And you release the cares of your mind and the blocks.
And you release anything that's caused you pain and worries.
And you know it's okay and you can go into that place where you can let go and forgive whatever situation occurred.
And know that you're on this path that ends the ego's battle.
And you do not have to worry or care.
Everything is all right.
Everything is okay.
You are with the way,
The truth,
And the light that you've been seeking.
And that light leads you on.
You are working with God's will and God's love.
And remember you can let go and be free from all of that frustration.
And you can be still in the peace.
And when you're bombarded by a million things to do.
And when you're distracted and out of touch with the true you,
Find that place inside you.
And be anchored there and strong.
And let your soul enfold you.
Know that you can write whatever's wrong.
And remember to say,
Peace be still.
Peace be still.
I'm with you.
All worries slip away.
Peace be still.
I'm with you each and every day.
God's love is there inside you and it's your guiding light.
Just remember,
Peace be still.
I'm with you and everything's all right.
Breathe that in and remember that.
And remember this is your place you can go.
And allow yourself to feel that peace always and call upon it when you get stuck.
And remember that you are attuned to the light of light.
I'm going to give you the Aramaic version of the Lord's Prayer.
And it says,
Father,
Mother of the cosmos,
Shimmering light of all,
Focus your light within us as we breathe your holy breath.
Enter the sanctuary of our hearts uniting within us the sacred rays of your power and beauty.
Let your heart's desire unite heaven and earth through our sacred union.
Help us to fulfill what lies within the circle of our lives today.
Forgive our secret fears as we freely choose to forgive the secret fears of others.
Let us not enter into forgetfulness tempted by false appearances.
For from your astonishing fire comes the eternal song which sanctifies all renewed eternally in our lives and throughout creation.
We seal these words in our hearts committed in trust and faith.
And I close with an Hawaiian phrase,
Amama,
Amama,
U'anoa,
The prayer is freed.
Remember the sacred toolbox,
Remember your tools to use when you get stuck and when you're in mercury and retrograde.
Blessings to you always.

Mercury in Retro April 2024 Australia. Enjoying the slowed down pace whilst in between jobs. Sitting in reflection for the next part of this journey. Thank you for the timely reminders of going with flow and not fighting against it.
