A very big aloha.
I'm Reverend Cindy Paulus and I'm very happy to be able to talk to you here today and do a meditation.
I'm going to talk about changing times,
Which I guess I've been talking about a bit.
It's become pretty obvious to me that things are changing a lot in the world,
And possibly speeding up,
Which wouldn't surprise me,
Knowing as time is very relevant,
Right?
It's relevant to a lot of things,
To how we perceive it,
And to what's going on,
And how we spend our time.
But there is a lot going on,
And this time,
In this day,
In this age,
I think it's more important than ever to stay strong in your meditation,
To get reinforced by going within,
By connecting to your inner self,
Your highest self,
Your soul,
And the source of all,
And to be able to be inspired,
And uplifted,
And reminded of how important staying true to that inner self and your beliefs are.
Now,
We know that,
In theory,
We all know,
To thine own self be true.
We all know those phrases,
Right?
Be thine,
To thine own self be true,
Thou cannot then be false to any man.
It's very important,
And it's been going on for a long time,
That people have reminded us how we have to be true to ourself.
But when a lot of those Shakespearean phrases were made,
And when we go back to the Bible,
There wasn't the internet,
There wasn't social media,
There wasn't all the influences,
And the TV shows,
And things happening at such a rate as they are now.
So,
As things become more overwhelming with all the input we're getting from so many sources,
We have to then,
Again,
Make time to be stronger,
And to reinforce our values,
And what's important to us,
Really,
In life,
More than ever.
And I do think that meditation is the key to that.
I think meditation is the source of being able to go within,
And go to that inner place where you can connect with what's really important to you inside.
What a great gift this is,
And it's free.
It doesn't cost anything.
It's free to be able to meditate,
And yes,
You might have to wake up a little earlier in the morning,
Or make a time for it,
But the value of that time spent connecting with yourself is priceless.
It's beyond measure.
It's so,
So important.
So,
Let's remember to be so grateful for that gift of being able to connect with our inner self in meditation,
And let's go inside,
And let's go to that place inside where we can connect.
You know,
It's interesting.
I had a comment from someone who was listening in Ireland,
And I had a comment from someone who was listening in Australia,
And I had a comment from someone listening all around the world,
And I thought,
How miraculous is this,
That we can be able to connect here from all around the world,
And I will probably never see the faces,
I mean,
The persons that are listening right now.
I'll probably never get to know you,
But I know you.
I know you in spirit.
I know you in energy.
What a great gift that is.
So,
Let me just first bow in gratitude for you taking the time to find a way to connect here,
Because that is very important,
And some part of you realizes how important that is,
And I really do understand that you get it,
You know,
In that level,
That inner level,
That this time where you go inside,
And that we can share together is of some important value to you,
And I always love to start by just clearing the mind and breathing,
Right?
I'd love to take those deep breaths,
Because breath sweeps mind,
And let's just sweep our mind.
Let's do a little cleaning of the mind.
Let's breathe in,
And hold our breath.
Ooh,
My neck just cracked in three places,
And breathe out.
Nothing to do,
But just breathe right now.
Ah,
Breathing in,
Holding the breath.
Ah,
Ah,
Ah.
It's breath in Hawaiian.
Ah,
Breathing in,
Holding the breath,
And breathing out at your own pace.
Everyone has their own breath cycle.
Why don't you just take some time to find out what your comfortable breathing pattern is right now?
How do you feel comfortable?
How deep do you feel comfortable breathing in?
I'm breathing in it.
And I'm holding our breath at the top here for a few seconds,
And then I'm breathing out.
Now sometimes the breath in will not be as deep as the breath out.
Some people suggest breathing in to the count of seven.
Holding for seven.
And breathing out for seven.
Holding out for seven.
That's called square breathing.
Breathing in.
And you'll find if you're doing this,
You'll be noticing your breath,
Which is good,
Because it gives your mind something to do.
The mind likes to do things.
You're directing your mind to count your breathing.
And we're going to go and find that as we do,
Our breath gets to the point where our mind is more clear.
And you'll feel a little more calm as you breathe in.
Hold and breathe out.
Ah,
Just how it's nice to be able to put a recognition of your body awareness around you.
And I do that by being aware of my feet and taking the time to be grateful for each foot and the work the feet do.
And the calves.
And the knees.
The thighs and the hips.
Ah,
And go to the base of the spine,
The root chakra.
And that beautiful color,
That deep,
Deep,
Deep color,
That ruby color within that base of the spine.
Recognizing the power at the base of the spine.
Letting that flow up to the next second chakra is so valuable.
That second chakra holds a lot of the center of your feelings.
Many people meditate from their second chakra.
Use that as their base.
And go on up to the third chakra.
And all the energy that surrounds the beautiful work that that energy in the body does there is so valuable to you.
Between the stomach and the liver and all of the kidneys and the work that's done on that third chakra is amazing.
That whole body area is just something to be grateful for.
The digestion,
Everything that goes on through there.
And allowing the flow of energy to continue on up to your beautiful heart chakra.
The sacred heart of your heart.
That wonderful heart that gives you the love.
The love in your life that you need.
Are you aware of the love that you need in your life?
Do you give yourself the love you need in your life?
How would you increase that love in your life for yourself and the work that you do and who you are?
Can you love yourself?
Clear anything that might come up that might be blocking that flow of love in your heart.
Know that that power is within you to be able to love.
That gift of love is so very,
Very precious.
Delve deep into that beautiful well of that sacred place of your heart of love.
Ah,
Feel so good and let that energy flow on up to the throat chakra.
All that creative energy there.
To the third eye chakra.
The beauty of the inner vision.
And allow the energy to continue to flow up to the crown chakra.
That beautiful crown chakra.
It's so very powerful and precious.
And see that energy of light there going up,
Up,
Up.
And allow that light to come all around you and protect you and through you and in front of you and behind you and below you.
That sacred light that protects you all around you.
Going around the front,
The back,
Above and below.
Now allow yourself to journey.
Journey to that source.
That source of the truth of who you really are.
That soul that knows you so well.
Take a moment to be grateful.
For your precious soul that's been with you lifetime after lifetime after lifetime.
Following your journey.
Here with you now and always.
What would your soul wish to tell you?
Is there a message?
And allow that energy to go up to that crown of the crown.
The beautiful source of all love and all light.
That God source within you.
That one source of all light and love.
Let that source reinforce the truth of who you really are.
And give thanks for that precious gift.
That unlimited light.
That infinite light.
That love of all loves.
That is present with you here and now.
Allow that love to come all the way through all of your levels of consciousness.
Flowing easily through all of the head chakra and back into the body and the mind and the emotions.
Re-energizing you.
Giving you what you need right now.
And take a moment to remember any thoughts,
Any feelings,
Any impressions.
Anything that would help you connect your conscious level to the highest level of your consciousness.
That bridge is so valuable and so important.
It's a source of all inspiration.
