A very big aloha.
My name is Reverend Cindy Paulus and I wanted to talk about a wonderful subject.
It's wonder and it's full of wonder.
It's a sense of wonder that is a it's present in you always but sometimes we get burdened during the day or with life and things going on.
You know what I'm talking about.
Things that happen and then sometimes we forget that sense of wonder.
Now I think one of the best cures for being able to maintain a sense of wonder is by doing your daily meditation.
You know I'm an advocate of that.
I've been doing it every day of my life since I've been 14 and I swear by it.
There's a great gift that comes every time that you meditate.
Every time you open that door.
So it's such a great pleasure to be able to do that.
To do that with you is even more of a pleasure because sharing that sense of wonder,
Sharing that inner magic that happens when you go inside is always illuminating.
And that's of course light is one of my favorite words.
But you can illuminate your mind and you can illuminate your whole beingness when you meditate.
And I guess that talking is kind of sometimes not as powerful as just meditating.
So let's just without further ado take a few breaths and get comfortable and find a place where you are comfortable to sit and perhaps you light a candle.
And you know you've got to get to that point where you're sitting comfortably and letting yourself breathe in and just be present as you breathe in and you breathe out.
Very simple.
It couldn't be easier.
It's as natural as living.
Breathing in and then holding for a second or two and then just releasing that breath.
And you'll be aware of your body maybe of how you're sitting and how your spine is and how you feel as you sit because you become more aware when you're still.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Just very comfortable.
Very wonderful.
And take the time to just be here now.
And I always like to put a wonderful brilliant white light around myself for protection.
A light that can go up and maybe six eight feet above and all the way through you and down below you and right and left side of you and in front and in back of you until you're surrounded in this radiant ball of light.
And just allow yourself to feel safe and protected as you breathe.
Very simple.
Just continue to breathe and to be here now.
And as you get comfortable you might start to be aware of certain colors when your eyes are closed.
I'm seeing a purple.
I'm seeing some other shades of kind of yellow and gold.
What colors are you seeing?
It's very natural when your eyes are closed if you're looking to see colors.
And our whole body is surrounded by color.
Our aura,
Our energy field is surrounded by color.
And just continue to go a little further within and allow yourself to be in that sacred space where that higher part of you.
You're so present.
Your soul is there with you.
So allow that soul presence to be present.
Allow it to be here now with you.
And nothing challenging about it.
Just a welcoming feeling.
Like I'm welcoming your closest friend.
That soul's been with you for a lifetime.
Many lifetimes actually.
Just it's always nice to give yourself time to recognize your soul.
Just let that beautiful soul's light and that soul's energy to be here now with you.
Ah,
Such a great gift.
Such a wonderful gift.
That soul.
Give gratitude and say thank you to your soul for sticking with you through thick and thin.
Always being there as your guide.
Ah,
What would your soul wish you to know?
What would that soul say?
Can you let yourself sense what your soul would say?
Now let's go a little deeper.
Your soul loves to connect with the highest source that holds it as well.
The soul is connected to that one source of all.
That energy field.
That infinite,
Infinite light.
And allow yourself to be bathed in that light.
That infinite light of the presence.
Just let that light be here now with you.
Ah,
Such a blessing.
Such a great gift.
Ah,
That light presence.
Such a beautiful inner connection to the miracle of life.
Allow that presence to feed the part of you that might need some love.
Might need some attention.
It might be some part of your body.
Might be your mind.
Might be your emotions.
What part of you would like to feel that blessing?
There's a part of you that can ask for that energy to be here now with you.
And be grateful.
Be oh so grateful for this wonderful gift.
This wonderful beingness that you hold inside you.
Now very,
Very,
Very slowly we're going to come out of meditation.
Just breathing slowly.
Feeling refreshed.
Feeling renewed.
Feeling rejuvenated.
All those re's.
Reinvented.
Reintuition.
Reinvited into that wonderful spirit of who you truly are.
That great gift of life that you hold in you that is so very precious,
My friend.
And as you realize this,
Maybe there's something that you got that you would like to write down.
I love to encourage you to do this.
There's lots of reasons why,
But one of the deepest reasons is that it connects that higher self,
That inner part of you,
To that outer self.
And you make a bridge that makes it easier to communicate inside and out and outside and in.
So if something comes to you,
If you even had just a word or a feeling or if you saw a light,
You write it down.
You'll find,
You can type it down,
If you communicate in some way,
You'll find that this is a valuable thing.
Now,
Maybe you'll start with one word,
Maybe it'll be a page,
But it just allows you to make that inner connection into that physical self that's very busy during the day.
And you build this up.
It's a great,
Wonderful tool to be able to know how to connect more easily and communicate what is inside out.
And I'm going to just take a moment to say thank you.
Deep,
Deep bow of gratitude,
My friend.
I really appreciate you being there and taking this time.
And I really think this,
It's so valuable.
I love you.
I bless you.
And thank you.
