A very big aloha.
I'm Rev.
Cindy Paulus and I was thinking about how life presents many things to you and it is interesting how we accept them,
Deal with them,
And kind of continue to be in that space inside,
That higher place,
Without being limited.
There's a lot in life that will make you want to just think that you have to take care of certain things and be very focused on what you're doing,
Which is fine,
Which is really good,
Actually,
To be focused on what you're doing.
But there are other times where you can actually work on letting go.
And in that space of meditation,
It's one of those times where you can observe,
Observe how the mind will stick in limitations sometimes.
It gets so used to having to accomplish what it has to accomplish and to do what it has to do,
Because we ask ourselves to do a lot.
That when you stop,
When you just stop and allow yourself to be and to be present,
It's almost like you have to detox.
It's as if you have to let go of all the other stuff that's gotten in there that you had to get done.
That's why I do like meditating early in the morning,
But at the same time,
If you had dreams,
There's leftover dream energy and thoughts there too.
So it is really valuable to take some precious time to just set your day with the intention of allowing yourself to bring in all of who you are with what you're doing.
Now,
It doesn't mean you don't focus on what you're doing.
You still focus on what you're doing,
But sometimes you're ultra aware of what you're doing as well.
And it is interesting to me how the objective observer can allow you to do what you're doing and still give you an overview at the same time of kind of what's going on on many levels.
Life brings you many interesting things,
Many interesting things.
I was going out to take a walk this morning,
And I love taking my walks.
And I live in a fairly large couple acre place,
And I was walking out to open the gates to go outside for a walk.
And I noticed this really large tree had come down.
Now,
I live on Maui,
And the trees here have all kinds of interesting ones,
But these ones,
The one that fell,
Does not have a very big root base.
It's really,
Eucalyptus trees are beautiful and large,
And they can live a long time,
But they don't have a big root base.
I didn't notice that the wind was that strong,
But I do live in an area where the wind can get pretty strong,
And this was a huge tree that came down.
And I had to look at that tree and give it a little blessing for being there,
The shade it provided,
The beauty that it provided,
And the work it did,
And the fact that it just was time for it to lay down.
And I was going to take a look,
Actually,
As I'm trying to cut it into lots and lots of pieces to so they can now get rid of it.
It's like,
I don't know,
Maybe they can burn some,
But I'm not sure.
But,
You know,
In life it's kind of like that,
Too.
You know,
Sometimes things will just collapse.
Sometimes we don't have control of what might do that.
But it's good to observe when things like that do happen.
It's good to observe when there's some major changes going on,
And how it influences you and the way you are aware.
It's very valuable to be aware of all of the energy around you,
The influences around you,
As well.
And I find that when you meditate,
When you go inside in the quiet,
You can go so deep into different layers.
But what helps is to get past the subconscious mind taking control.
And I found one of the ways to do that,
And it's really very old practice,
Is to do your breath work,
And you give your mind something to focus on.
And if your mind is being told to focus on your breath,
Breathing in and breathing out,
And if you're allowing yourself to be aware,
Just totally aware of the energy of each breath,
That gives you that space to go a little deeper than just the mind,
Right?
To allow that higher self,
And that energy field,
And that soul of who you are can then travel to a higher awareness level,
Which is really good to be able to do it at the same time being present.
So let's go into meditation and think about that without thinking,
Because we don't want to think about things while we're meditating,
But we want to be aware for sure.
So we just,
I always like to put a beautiful white light all the way around me,
Above me,
And below me,
On either side of me,
And I like to get comfortable and to have my sacred space,
You know,
Light a candle and allow that breath to come in and sweep the mind.
Just breathing,
Just being aware of how precious each breath is,
And with a conscious awareness of your breath,
You allow yourself to go deeper and deeper into each breath,
Breathing deeply in,
And holding,
And breathing out.
And I'm aware of the bird outside.
I'm aware of the wind outside.
I'm aware of the colors changing with my eyes closed.
As I expand my awareness,
To be aware of what's going on energetically inside.
I allow myself to be aware of my heart.
How precious is this love within your heart?
One of the greatest gifts,
The greatest gifts that you can have is that love that you have within,
That love that connects you to the ultimate love,
The source of all love.
So let's travel.
Let's take that energy of your awareness of your heart and let it guide you to the source from where it all comes.
It's a wonderful journey.
So precious is this love from where it comes.
And you'll sense different energies as you travel inward deeper with that energy of your heart and the love there.
As you expand your awareness,
Invite your energy of your intrinsic soul.
And right now as I'm doing that,
I'm feeling a tingling.
How do you feel your soul's presence?
Oh,
It's so precious,
This soul.
And the soul is fed by the ultimate love,
The source of all love within,
That wonderful gift of love from the source of all.
It's so expansive.
It's so healing.
It's so limitless.
Be grateful for this energy.
Be grateful for the gift of that one source of all love there within you.
Let it give you direction.
Let it give you that source of the love that feeds what you need to be and to be aware of as well.
And slowly allow yourself to travel back into your total mind and body and the whole source where you are right now.
And just take that moment to write down,
To notate what that was about within you.
And as you do this,
The value of this is connecting that conscious mind to the super consciousness,
To the higher consciousness.
And as you build that thread,
That antikarana,
As you continue to build that,
It continues to allow you to freely travel to the place of the source of all light and love within you and your daily life where you are allowing that moment to be aware in your life of that light and love and how it's present.
This is a very,
Very wonderful experience to share,
And I'm so very,
Very grateful.
And I send you my deepest love and appreciation for taking the time to be here.
Thank you.
