Dr. Paul Masters Meditation On Intimacy

I began meditating under the auspices of Dr. Paul Leon Masters when I was 13 years old. Through his teachings, I began meditating every day. This time is dedicated to divine intimacy with God.

I turn away from the outer world,

To enter into the inner world,

To leave behind me the outer world and its scares and concerns,

To enter into the inner world of my own mind,

Soul and spirit.

And so,

As I do this now,

Let me visualize myself,

Where I am.

And as I do this,

Let me imagine that from the central upper torso of my body,

A bright white light emerges,

Surrounding my body in an aura of pure radiant light.

As if the very light of God centered in the upper torso of my body has come forth,

And surrounded my body with a protective aura of light,

An aura that no outside negativity can penetrate,

So that here within this aura of light,

I sense a feeling of protection and the presence of the divine.

As if in the very air,

The essence of the air that surrounds my body,

Filled with the essence of God's presence,

So that every breath that I breathe into my body now,

Extracts the essence of God's presence.

From that breath,

As I inhale it,

I inhale it through my nostrils,

It flows down the length of my body,

Down into my feet,

And there it turns back upward and passes through the entirety of my body,

Releasing from my body all that is not of the essence of God and God's peace.

So that moment by moment,

And breath by breath,

I release from my body all that is not of God,

And maintain a consciousness in my body of only God,

So that I am in the process of sacredness,

Of holiness,

Here within myself,

Throughout the entirety of my body.

And so let me feel parts of my body and feel that only the presence of God exists there.

Let me feel my left foot at the end of my leg and feel its presence,

And feel the existence of God in my left foot.

And now let me feel the existence of my right foot and feel that there the presence of God is.

And now let me feel through my mind my left calf muscle,

And as I do,

Let me feel that God is there.

And now let me repeat the process in my right calf,

And thereby feeling it through my mind,

I feel that God's presence is there also.

And now let me move my consciousness into my left knee,

And as I do,

I feel the existence of my left knee through my mind,

And in my mind there is only the presence of God at that part of my body.

And so now let me feel the presence of my right knee,

And so in turn let me feel that God's presence is there also.

And now let me feel my left thigh,

And as I do,

Let me feel its existence,

And let me feel that the existence that supports its physical existence is the presence of God there in my left thigh.

And now into my right thigh,

Let me feel the existence of that part of my body,

And as I do,

Let me feel that God's presence is there.

And now let me feel that God's presence is at the base of my spine,

And I feel in that area of my body its existence.

And I feel that God's presence there can capture my soul in divine intimacy,

And send it soaring upward along my spinal column,

Through my lower back,

Which I feel now and sense God's presence in,

Through my upper back,

Which I sense now and feel God's presence therein,

Through my abdomen,

Through the seat of my emotions,

I feel God's presence there neutralizing,

Sublimating any negative energies into positive light,

Positive peace,

Positive love.

And so I feel the upper torso of the frontal part of my body that is radiating out light around my body.

And as I do,

I realize that this is the center of the universe individualized in me,

As if all of the universe had involved itself into my consciousness,

And here in the upper central portion of my body,

The light of pure God exists,

And that it exists within the area of my neck,

Into whatever words are spoken,

I ask that they be spoken through the Spirit that is within me,

That the Spirit may speak.

Words of peace,

Words of wisdom,

Words of love.

And so I feel that presence throughout my neck area right now.

And now I move my focus of attention to the side of my head on the left side,

And I feel the existence of my left ear on the side of my face.

And as I do,

Let me feel that God's inner hearing presence is there.

And now let me feel my right ear on the right side of my head.

And as I do,

Let me feel that here,

God's inner voice in the form of inspiration,

Of intuition,

Can be known,

Can be heard,

To lead me,

To guide me,

Each and every day.

And so let me feel the existence of my left eye.

And as I do,

Let me realize that sight truly is divine sight.

And now let me feel the existence of my right eye,

And again feel that sight is truly divine sight.

That the energy that I use from both my left eye and right eye physically is now being reversed back into my own inner mental field.

There stimulating inner sense perception.

And that this is taking place right here,

Right now.

A higher state of reality beginning to unfold within me,

Throughout me,

And about me.

Consciousness unfolding.

Innermost realities coming into view and into perspective.

For my mind is open to spiritual intimacy between my soul mind and the universal soul spirit that is God.

So I call forth into myself,

Into all levels of my mind,

That I may set myself aside to know the greatest thing that can be known.

And that is that I am forever joined in divine intimacy between my soul and the spirit that is almighty God.

And so now I sense various levels of my mind.

Beginning at the conscious level,

Let me feel that my mind exists as many circles.

Circle within circle within circle.

And as I mentally visualize this,

Let me feel that I am at the outer conscious circle.

Where I am at the level of human mind.

And that I am passing from this level into a deeper level.

Into the subconscious part of my mind.

Where personal memories exist.

That these personal memories are fading from my mind now.

Dissolving from my consciousness.

Because I seek to be one with God.

And so I travel into the ethereal level of my mind.

That connects my body with the health and life supporting spiritual systems of my physical beingness,

Underlying its physical manifestation.

And so I draw upon the energy of the sun and of the elements.

And as I do now,

Let me feel that I pass into the psychic and the telepathic level of my mind now.

At this level I am in constant exchange with other souls on this planet and beyond.

And that here in the psychic level,

I train whatever extrasensory awareness I have now,

On establishing inner spiritual intimacy between my mortal self and the immortal presence of God.

And so I pass now into the astral level of my mind.

A doorway into the many mansions of God.

Into the many dimensions of God.

Into the afterlife.

And so I am open,

Open wide,

To intimacy with God.

Intimacy at a collective level of my mind.

Where I am joined with all other minds,

With the minds of society.

And yet here,

Sharing all of these various multitudes of mind,

I am still remaining inseparable from the ultimate mind,

The mind that is God.

And so I travel into the soul portion of my mind,

Where Spirit individualized itself as me for this lifetime.

And here I commune,

Commune with the souls of others.

And here I know that I am created by God.

And I am thankful.

And I am grateful.

And now let me pass into the innermost center of my consciousness.

Indeed,

The Godhead here within me.

And yet,

Infinitely,

Infinitely beyond me.

And as I feel this,

Sense it,

Think it,

Let me also have a feeling that God being everywhere in all things makes God's presence available to me in all ways and in all things.

So that I am one with God,

Who in turn is one with all of the elements of nature.

The earth beneath my feet.

Water to cleanse me not only on the physical level,

But also on a spiritual and emotional level,

Which it is doing right here,

Right now.

And then fire.

Fire beyond the physical.

Fire on a spiritual level to purify my soul.

And I am open to that divine purification right here,

Right now.

And to the element of air,

Which takes my very soul and ascends it upward into heavenly realms and beyond those heavenly realms into the bright,

Perfect light of God's presence.

Here within me,

And yet,

Infinitely beyond me.

And so I merge with the essence of the air,

And thus with the essence of God's presence in the air.

And I begin to achieve further divine intimacy with the stars in the physical universe,

With all that surrounds the stars.

And as I do,

I become one with the combined light of all of the stars that shine,

For that light is generated from the spiritual level of God's presence throughout infinity.

And right here,

Right now,

I am one with that infinite light.

And the spark of my soul is one and intimate with the light of Almighty God.

And that intimacy now extends and expands into universal mind,

Into the intelligence of nature throughout infinity.

And my personal sense of consciousness is now joined and one and intimate with nature's consciousness everywhere,

Everywhere that exists.

And I share this intimacy now between my soul and the spirit that is Almighty God.

For my soul opens wide to the spirit that is within it.

And the spirit of God's presence within it opens to my soul.

And there is an intimacy now,

An intimacy between my personal mind and the mind of God,

An intimacy between my soul and God's spirit.

I feel this.

I open myself to this.

I pray for this intimacy with the divine presence of God.

And as I do,

The entirety of my beingness physically unites at its essence with the essence behind the physical beingness of the universe itself.

And so my physical body,

At its essence,

Is in an intimate state of contact with the universe,

With the stars and the heavens,

This moment at the essence,

The reality of the stars and of the heavens.

And as this happens,

There is intimacy between God's wisdom and my mortal understanding,

Between God's awareness and my mortal awareness,

That there is intimacy of consciousness,

Of understanding,

Of knowingness between the mortal and the immortal part of me,

Right here,

Right now.

And there is thus intimacy with God's eternal peace,

The peace that passeth all understanding,

All comprehension.

And I am in divine intimacy with eternal peace within me and yet infinitely,

Infinitely beyond me.

And now,

In this great oneness,

There is an intimacy between myself and the entirety of the universe at its spiritual core and essence,

Which is God's presence.

And in this divine intimacy,

There is total union.

And where there is total union,

There is total love.

And I am one with a state of beingness,

Where there is an intimacy of love and union of my soul with God,

Here in me now.

For this,

I give thanks for the intimacy of my soul with the divine spirit mind of God.

And so,

It is.
