A very big aloha.

My name is Reverend Cindy Paulos and I wanted to talk today about how do you deal with the unknown.

Now we always kind of tell ourselves that we can do okay and we kind of build ourselves up and we think we know enough to get by but the reality is we don't really know what's gonna happen from day to day from moment to moment and we just accept a lot.

We believe enough and we accept enough that everything is gonna hum along.

Now I can tell from experience that I've recently gone through that my partner of many many many years passed away and it means that I'm gonna have to move and it means that my lifestyle is gonna change drastically and things are gonna be different and so when you do that a change like that makes you aware of like wow at any moment things can change.

We don't have control over what's gonna be happening over a lot of events in our life so yeah it comes down to being okay and trusting enough to be able to go on and move ahead when you don't know exactly what's gonna happen and that's an interesting state of mind.

I find it fascinating actually how it's like we want security right we want to feel secure but there's a lot of things in life that we have no control over and the reality is you have to really be expecting the unexpected sometimes.

So I thought I'd talk about the unknown and expecting the unexpected and the best way to deal with that because maybe some of you have been going through similar things because I know times are definitely changing.

I happen to believe that through meditation and by studying and the path that I've studied in which is more like the metaphysical path that there's many teachings along this very subject there's many talks as many books there's many teachers who have talked about this reality but the thing is it's very different reading a book it's very different knowing this as far as mentally versus the reality of really facing it in your life and facing it is so different that you have to really be able to put into work in your life what you may have talked about what you may have believed comes down to a whole different way of being when you have to deal with that in your your life and that's why it's so good to be able to call upon that inner resource of meditation of the inner strength that inner guidance and that faith that you get when you connect with that resource inside and that inner guidance to get you through hard times or changing times because we're never I mean I've never seen times that are changing as rapidly as they are right now so the best way to navigate that and deal with it is to be able to call upon your inner self your higher self your soul your higher consciousness and to meditate and to set your mind into that place of having that inner faith that inner connection that things will work out the way they're supposed to work out or the best way possible it's up to you of course to take advantage of those options and the ability to discover and call upon the way that you're going to make that happen in your life as well but without fail meditation helps and it works and so I thought I'd do a meditation today as I love to do with you that goes into that inner place of that strength within and it's always such a pleasant thing to be able to just relax and let go of anything that's been on the mind or any worries or cares concerns and just take some time to just be by breathing and just being centered and putting a beautiful protective white light around yourself and letting my neck crack there and just know that you're in this space right now we can take deep deep breaths in breathing deeply in holding and breathing deeply out it's so simple just being here now breathing in and holding and breathing out ah breathing deeply in holding and breathing deeply out breathing in with an ah and holding and ah just letting go of any concerns or worries as you go deeper within yourself now there's many many levels of going deeper within yourself many many levels now there's a very sub well subconscious level of course but you can go through that level pretty quickly as you're breathing in you can go to that higher conscious level and you can call upon that higher consciousness with each breath and let that higher consciousness kind of come into your higher mind and just let that completely fill you full of a wonderful energy that higher mind is so powerful it's such a gift so many creative resources in the higher mind so many ideas and what's the source of the higher mind the source of the higher mind is that is the light of all lights the love of all loves and in meditation you can just allow that energy to be here with you right now now there's no reason in the world not to feel that love and that light there's any reasons you think you're not worthy of it you have to let that go because you are you are a child of that light and that love you are created from that light and that love you are a reflection of that ultimate light and love in being and this gift this grand gift of being present with that light and that love should be embraced should be cherished so allow yourself that gift right now open your highest part of your very essential being from the very source of all love and just let yourself be completely in tune and aligned with that light and that love breathe it in be grateful be oh so grateful for this wonderful gift that inspires you that directs you that guides you allow it to be at work in your life and slowly come back into your conscious mind and your awareness of everything going on in your body and just allow whatever drift of beautiful light and love that was coming into your consciousness to be present as you come out of the meditation so you can be able to write down the reason I always suggest this is because that helps build that bridge between your conscious everyday thinking and the highest consciousness and when you develop that bridge you can use and call upon that higher consciousness that higher light that higher love in your regular daily life life your life can be full of that energy and that beautiful highest consciousness and it can be integrated into the way you live and what happens to you in your daily living it's one of the great gifts of being so just take that moment to connect and I want to thank you so much and really bow in gratitude to you being here and taking the time to explore that beautiful gift of being here now.
