A very big Aloha.

My name is Reverend Cindy Palos and I'm going to be doing a talk and a meditation here with you and I always like to have a subject and I base the subject on what I've been finding out as I continue my long long long long process of meditating every day and looking at what's going on in life and it is a long long process I've been doing it since I've been 12 years old and I'm getting up there now so that's a lot of years the thing is it's amazing to me and almost miraculous that this process doesn't end I mean and because it's an ongoing process it's kept me always coming back I'm always wanting to discover more always wanting to find out what's going on you know and originally when it started it was like all new and like being in love for the first time and maybe even more than that because the light and love you find when you go inside it's just amazing truly amazing but you get to a point that you realize okay it's not about it's not about feeling the ecstasy it's not about feeling like that only the good stuff it's about doing serious work on improving your own life and trying to help others in the process and that's what takes a lifetime that's what that's an ongoing thing and in the way we approach it's so interesting because you become more aware and I've been aware lately of how I avoid difficult subjects with people now I'm an empath and I'm very sensitive to other people's feelings etc and sometimes I try to avoid doing anything that would upset somebody else and so I have been really pondering this how you address something that's going on without offending someone but also speaking your truth and that takes a lot of interesting negotiating and dealing with how you do really work and deal with stuff in your life it's very easy to try to ignore the more difficult stuff and a lot of people do you know I can understand that especially if you don't like encounters you know it's it's easier to just ignore it I know some people who will just change the subject and not want to talk at all about anything that that's difficult right and and this isn't the solution I mean it's not it's not gonna solve a situation if you don't deal with it right so it can be always coming back to you in your life and the way you encounter these things or the way you may have created these things unconsciously or subconsciously so you realize there's something going on that you have to deal with and then you look at the way you can deal with it objectively that is going to be most effective without being harmful or hurtful or hopefully not upsetting somebody else but sometimes people might get upset because if you've been putting it off for a while they're used to you acting in that way and all of a sudden you changing could be something that they didn't expect but it's part of the process of learning and growing and dealing with life you know and handling it and and it's a gift to yourself because you get stronger and it's also a gift to the situation because you're honoring your inner self and true self and usually good things will come from that it may not be what you might imagine but there will be things that you will discover as you do this now I would ask you to just maybe see if there's anything that comes to your own mind that you have found in your life that you have been trying to avoid a situation something in a relationship or friendship something that has been kind of there in the background you have been not dealing with or afraid to bring up and how you bring that up and take whatever might come usually it's the first thing that comes to your mind sometimes you have to dig deeper and and then go to that point where that situation is and take it take it really into a deep dive with yourself to imagine the best way the best way for you and your own inner self and your own truth to deal with the situation and then you can get to that point it will take you on a journey sometimes and you might even find that this has been a pattern you've created for a while but as you begin to address and see these situations that occur and how you deal with them you become stronger you become more honest you become true to yourself true to your highest self in your own truth and that's so beautiful when you are able to negotiate the best way to honor your true self so we're going to do a meditation on this and kind of take a deep dive into this and the best way of course in that is just to kind of make sure you're comfortable that your back is straight and you're erect and you're sitting straight or whatever way you may be cross-legged or in a chair or whatever way that's your way of dealing with your meditation and the best way of going into yourself and then you know as we always do we start with our breath we just become conscious and follow the breath and this is a beautiful process just following your breath taking a deep breath in holding it for a second or two and I just felt my neck crack I always do when I take those deep dives within and then ah just release the breath and let it all out let it all go let it all go let it all go and then breathe in and just allow yourself at the top of your breath to stay a second and just let it go then completely releasing and breath sweeps mind sweep that mind just allowing that breath to guide you here nothing to do nothing to think about just your breathing breathing deeply in and allowing that breath to completely go out go ahead out all of it all of it out and you'll probably feel your body wishing to get deeper in with you as you breathe because this is a signal you're going into meditation if you've done it before your mind knows you're going into meditation you know you're going into meditation it creates a state that you can make that inner connection even deeper as you breathe in and go to that source within you that just that inner self that you within the you that light within the light that love within the love and allow that opening as you completely surround yourself with a wonderful protective radiant white light above and below and front and back on either side of you protecting you and making sure that you now are able to dive deeply into this wonderful connection you have with your teacher your inner teacher your higher self this great gift that's there that cares about you so much your soul has been with you your entire lifetime and it knows you better than anybody it knows you sometimes for a lifetime is a lifetime so your soul is your wonderful connection that you can go to and you can allow and trust your soul to be good to you it's a very good resource it's the source of the resource so you welcome your soul in and you allow yourself to have a conversation with yourself your own higher self your soul and you ask yourself if there's something that you need to do in your life to clear out any kind of situation that you have been avoiding or did not dealing with that you wish to correct and make clear in your life and allow yourself to speak to you that what comes to you that what comes to you to be welcomed and understood what is it that comes to you if you were to be aware that there were things in your life you wish to clear up that needs to be dealt with that you've been avoiding so many gifts come with this inner communication this awareness and sometimes you will not know exactly the words or hear exactly the words or catch the entire thought but you planted a seed that will then come forth into your conscious mind because your inner self knows that you're ready to hear anything that might help your growth and benefit you in your life and that's such a fantastic gift it's a wonderful gift you can be grateful for so just allow that energy of awareness to be welcomed welcomed in and how you deal with it to be given that strength and that love and that energy now this may not be an instantaneous process this may take a little bit of more conscious awareness and digestion because you're taking in a bit to swallow here so you have to digest it but know that it's in the process and that you're okay with whatever you have to deal with in your life breathe deeply and allow yourself to slowly come back to your conscious mind and your awareness of your body and all that is around you there and slowly slowly slowly allow yourself to be so grateful so grateful for your inner teacher your inner guide your higher self that's always watching out for you and always wanting the best for you and be so grateful for you yourself taking the time to be here to meditate to give yourself this guidance that really helps you in your life I bow in gratitude and love with deep love and gratitude always thank you
