Our lives are inundated with a vast amount of information from online sources and media. It's very important to monitor Talk and meditation on this.. To have a deep meditation, you need to be aware of what you need to clear, what you are taking in, to clear away the stuff you have put your mind.

A very big aloha.

I'm Reverend Cindy Palos,

And I wanted to talk about individual choices.

You know,

On this path,

We're bombarded by a lot of different influences,

And it's up to us to really be the guardian,

Be the guardian of our choices,

To be the guardian of how we live our lives.

And there's so many choices that you have to really enforce what is your purpose,

What's your goal,

What you wish to accomplish,

And the best way to do that.

And that can have a lot of influences,

And you can certainly have a lot of input from so many places.

There's no problem getting a lot of input these days.

But all that input,

A lot of times,

Has to be filtered out.

And you kind of learn this when you're doing meditation.

When you go into meditation,

You find that if your mind is bracing with input,

What you put in,

What input is putting in,

That you also have to let all that stuff go.

What goes in has to come out.

It's very interesting.

But the more input you have,

And these days,

I think our society and people have more input than ever in their lives.

So the more time you're getting input,

The more time you might have to have getting output.

And I use that in an interesting way,

Because output is like,

Okay,

Getting it out of your mind and what you're going through,

But also being able to go to the deepest place inside yourself.

So what you do put out,

So to speak,

Your output,

Is a clear reflection of what is going on inside you.

A lot of people don't talk about this,

But you subconsciously know this.

We know how our dreams work.

We know how life works.

We know what happens when we see something in a movie that's very scary that we can maybe have a bad dream about.

We find ourselves having,

I don't know how much time online,

With input from more than ever before.

Gosh,

In just a half an hour of being online,

You can get so much input,

So much input.

But to digest that all,

To digest and actually register what's important and what's not important,

Takes a lot of discrimination.

And it also,

I think what's happening that I see happening is everyone that is putting things out to sell things in their own way for whatever purposes,

Are doing them,

It seems like they've become,

I don't know,

More aggressive and much better at getting your attention than ever before.

Have you noticed this?

Well,

You have an intention to just spend,

You know,

Maybe five minutes or 10 minutes online mixing,

You know,

You've gone down that rabbit hole and it's like,

Oh my gosh,

It's been an hour or something.

There are experts that know how to do this.

There's experts who know how to capture your attention.

Some people spend a lot of money.

Spending money to get your attention online is not unusual these days.

And the same thing for TV,

You know,

And TV ads as well and movies.

So this is something you have to be a guardian.

You have to be a guardian of your own input and output.

And it takes time to be able to sit and clear out and be aware of that thought process and what might be going on in your subconscious.

Now,

Of course,

This is what your dream time is supposed to be doing,

But sometimes you're so overwhelmed with your stuff that's going on inside that you have a harder time trying to take all of that and clear it out at night.

So you can do this in meditation.

You can do this in just taking time without a lot of other things going on to just stop,

You know,

Stop and breathe and stop and be just okay with where you are,

With who you are,

With what you are.

And when you're doing stuff online or watching TV,

You may not feel that same energy.

Just take a few moments now and do a little test.

Just let's breathe in and breathe out.

And that's all you have to do.

Just breathe in consciously,

Breathing in,

Holding your breath for about one,

Two,

Three seconds,

And then just releasing,

Releasing,

Releasing,

Breathing out,

Breathing in,

Holding your breath,

And breathing out.

Your mind likes to follow instructions.

And if you give your mind something simple,

Such as following your breath,

Breathing in,

Holding,

And breathing out,

Your mind can be very grateful because you're not overwhelming your mind with a montage,

A massive amount of input.

Just breathing in,

Holding your breath,

And breathing out,

Relaxing,

Just feeling good,

Having your spine straight,

Being aware of what's going on inside.

Inside.

In.

Now you begin to find that everything slows down.

Really,

You'll find that your body slows down,

Your mind slows down.

Everything feels more in tune with the real you right now.

And just allow yourself to be grateful for giving you,

The real you,

A chance to be present.

See how good it feels to just be here now.

Breathing in and breathing out.

Now your mind might drift,

Of course,

But always just come back to breathing in and breathing out.

And your mind's pretty smart.

It knows after a couple of minutes,

It knows what you're doing.

Okay,

So it will automatically go into breathing in slowly,

Holding your breath,

And breathing out.

And you can also take this to the next deeper level,

Which is where you can allow yourself to go deeper inside yourself,

Into your higher consciousness,

Into your soul level.

Breathing in,

Allowing your soul to be present,

To let your soul be your pilot.

Ah,

And just feel good as you recognize that your soul is in control.

Breathing in to the soul,

Allowing your soul to be in control,

And breathing out.

Do this for a few more deep breaths.

Breathing into your soul level,

And letting that soul come into your entire consciousness.

See if there's anything coming to you.

Is there any special thoughts?

Allow them to be.

Ah,

And slowly,

Very slowly come back out to your conscious mind.

And tell yourself,

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you for this wonderful time of peace and introspection.

Now,

Please take the time to bring what was on your inner level out.

It builds a bridge that's very important this way.
