**Note: Truth does not always sound pleasant. If the mind is not really peaceful now, it might not be a perfect moment to listen to this podcast, one has to be aware of the emotions or reactions that can block one from listenING ATTENTIVELY and with HUMILITY. This talk is a meditation practice. What one needs to do is listen attentively, without getting stuck in words, examine the mind in silence, nor agree or disagree, just look at the mind as it is. Doing so is already a meditation practice.

When a mind seeks or believes or depends,

The mind can't observe itself.

Just like when a man looks at a specific direction,

That man can't observe everything around him.

Because that very direction has occupied the whole mind.

The mind of that man has been trapped in that fragment.

When the mind is seeking something,

The mind is enslaved to that thing.

And that thing blocks the whole view.

That's why this very seeking brings about the ignorance of the mind.

And this ignorance is everywhere on this planet.

Unless the mind really stops seeking.

Because when the mind stops seeking,

The mind is capable of observing,

Vouch constantly.

Then the mind can possibly understand itself.

When there's clarity,

The ignorance is gone.

So it is very important to live a life without seeking,

Not theoretically,

But actually.

Which means that putting the mind into the real situation,

That's to live life without seeking.

If not,

The observance is still from the observer.

What is the observer?

Isn't it the self,

The me,

Which is the consequence of this seeking?

So to observe without being the observer is to live a life where the self is totally absent.

That also means there's no seeking.

So the mind has no direction to go to.

Such a mind is free,

Or else the mind is enslaved to a direction.

And therefore totally blind to everything else.
