**Note: Truth does not always sound pleasant. If the mind is not really peaceful now, it might not be a perfect moment to listen to this podcast, one has to be aware of the emotions or reactions that can block one from listenING ATTENTIVELY and with HUMILITY. Listening to this talk is meditation. What one needs to do is listen attentively, without being stuck in words, examine the mind in silence, no agree or disagree, just look at the mind as it is. Doing so is already part of true meditation.

When the mind is no longer trapped by thoughts,

Which means that the mind negates the thoughts totally psychologically,

There is spontaneity.

When the mind is trapped in thoughts,

It is never spontaneous,

Because all the behaviors are driven by thoughts,

By reactions,

By desires.

It is not spontaneity,

It is mechanical.

Just like when two persons meet each other,

They talk immediately,

It is not spontaneous,

Because the verse carries the thoughts,

Thoughts pushes the verse.

It is not a spontaneous process.

But it is easy to misunderstand this as something spontaneous,

Due to this lack of awareness,

Self-awareness.

When one is really aware of this,

One must find out that when the mind is in thoughts,

There is no such thing called spontaneity at all.

When both of us are aware of the thoughts that dinge on it,

Perhaps we don't speak to each other randomly.

This spontaneity,

Which is the clarity,

Comes from this self-awareness.

When the mind is no longer trapped by thoughts,

When the mind is no longer seeking pleasure,

Seeking fulfillment,

There is spontaneity.

Else the mind is trapped by the mechanical loops of the thoughts,

Nothing is spontaneous.
