Such a mind conditioned to this stimulation,
The pleasure,
Becomes turbulent,
Will increase for more pleasure,
More stimulation.
And such a mind is seeking a sense of satisfaction,
But it can never get satisfied,
Only craving more and more.
For what?
For nothing.
And for those people who are doing this influence to other people,
This becomes their pleasure.
They are also seeking pleasure.
They are also being influenced from other commercial elements.
So in this environment,
The mind is always passive,
Always exploiting each other.
And nobody is really happy.
To understand ourselves is to understand this mechanical living,
By seeing it clearly in our life.
Can the mind be not so passive?
Which means that can the mind be aware?
Being aware means the mind is proactive.
It's to be alert,
To watch out,
To learn,
To observe.
It is totally different from the mind,
Which keeps receiving,
Accepting,
All kinds of things that form the influence.
So to meditate,
It's to inquire whether it is possible for one to jump into another dimension,
Whether the mind is alert,
Is learning,
Is inquiring.
Which also means that whether can one really stop seeking pleasure?
We don't condemn pleasure,
But can one stop seeking it?
Instead of seeking,
Can one observe oneself,
This total movement of thoughts that are full of influences?
And can one live a life without being influenced by anything?
This requires tremendous diligence to study,
To look,
To negate.
Never carry the influence to the next moment.
Sit clearly at this moment,
Immediately.
