To meditate is to observe,
To empty the mind.
The mind goes slowly and everything becomes clear.
Or else the mind is occupied with all kinds of things which are all the product of the abstraction,
Concept,
Ideas.
The mind keeps churning,
Churning.
Everything is so fast.
It's so efficient,
So to speak.
Look around this world.
The world is becoming more and more efficient,
Which is a form of brutality.
Because every mind is becoming faster and faster,
Trapped in that loop.
Such a society has such a strong demand for efficiency.
You see,
All the issues ultimately is the projection of the inner issues.
All kinds of fast food,
All kinds of ready-made products are all catering to people's demand for being faster,
Being more efficient.
But life is always about what is,
The actuality.
We have to see our issues all cause unhappiness,
Miserable life,
Problems as what is,
Not as another idea,
Concept.
Seeking efficiency,
Seeking being faster,
Seeking all this that can bring about some temporary pleasure.
But the challenge,
The issue is there.
Seeking pleasure,
Escaping the issues temporarily won't solve anything at all.
We keep deceiving ourselves by filling ourselves with more abstraction,
Ideas,
Self-comfort.
But all the issues as what is still exist until we really deal with them.
The way to deal with is not to seek,
But to observe,
Learn,
See it clearly,
See the disorder.
Not I see,
You see,
But the mind sees it.
The mind goes through the transformation.
The mind must see clearly what is really most important.
Not the self,
Not I think,
I want this,
So this is important.
I want that,
That is very important.
I don't care about this,
So this is not important.
That's all the mischief created by the self.
In other words,
They are all confusion of the mind.
