You see,
Either the mind observes the pattern,
And the pattern breaks up,
And the mind impetuses itself,
Or the mind gets lost in the pattern,
Making the mind full because of the content in terms of thoughts,
Images,
Symbols that are found in the pattern.
For most people,
The mind is trapped in patterns,
The mental construct of the society,
Also all kinds of personal idiosyncrasies.
Because such a life is very easy,
The mind doesn't have to do anything,
Just follow and get trapped.
This life is very easy,
And this easiness becomes another trap.
An easy life doesn't mean a happy life,
A peaceful life,
Or a meaningful life.
On the contrary,
An easy life brings about all kinds of mess,
Self-ego,
All kinds of issues to the world,
Because an easy life has no awareness.
The mind is purely passive,
Keeps being trapped,
Doing all kinds of nonsense.
And the life is totally lost,
Meaningless,
Superficial,
Utterly ugly.
To meditate,
To inquire,
Is to act.
The mind just sees clearly and sheerly acts to drop the thoughts,
To really liberate the mind from this incessant mess and chaos.
When the mind sees clearly the misachieves created by the self by all kinds of thoughts,
Sees the sufferings created by the self by the thoughts,
The mind must act sheerly.
Just like when the mind sees any danger,
The mind is very alert.
In face of the danger,
The mind acts.
