The very control brings about the me,
The self,
Bringing about this division,
The controlled and the controller.
The mind is making efforts to be something,
To become something,
To avoid being something.
This whole process makes tremendous conflicts,
Struggles,
Contradictions,
Therefore confusions.
The mind wants to be something,
To become something,
To avoid being something.
For what?
For a sense of pleasure,
Right?
Which is called achievement or whatever.
It is the pleasure from the thoughts,
Very transitory.
But for such a mind which is struggling,
Which is in conflicts,
Pleasure becomes very important.
Do you see the illusion inside here?
The mind has lost the reasonability,
Sanity.
The mind just looks and wants pleasure.
Oh,
If I can become that person to achieve that,
I would be very happy.
But now this mind is struggling.
You see,
The pleasure from the thoughts and its control together bring about this disordered mental loop,
The me,
The self.
The mind is deriving pleasure from achieving something,
Becoming something.
This borders on an illusion.
Because the mind is struggling actually now.
The mind is suffering now,
But the pleasure has taken over the mind.
Can you see this in yourself,
In your life?
The very control brings about the me,
The efforts,
The very efforts distort the mind,
Putting the mind into illusion,
The illusion of seeking pleasure,
Wanting to be respected,
Wanting to have a good reputation,
Wanting to have this self-importance,
The proudness,
All the rest of it.
The mind is always seeking that,
But this whole process of seeking is control.
The me is struggling,
The me is making efforts,
And this has been justified by this civilization almost every day through that.
But the mind is really suffering,
Is really in trouble.
This mental control is meaningless.
It only drags the mind into some great illusions,
While the mind is still struggling now.
To meditate is to really see this clearly.
That is what is actually taking place now.
