Cleansing breath in and exhaling in your own time and repeat that once or twice more to settle your body and let go of any of the thinking,
The planning and just noticing your wonderful body made the effort to be here now as you breathe just notice that gentle rise and fall of your chest remembering that our breath can be the anchor to this present moment you are safe to pause to stop to soften into this moment and bring your awareness to your body feel the weight of your body supported by the chair or the bed by the earth itself and now imagine roots growing down from your body from the base of your spine into the floor into the soil anchoring you grounding you you are supported you are steady there is nowhere you need to be right now so let your shoulders drop unclench your jaw and soften that forehead of yours each time you inhale feel the breath go to the places that might be tight and let the breath soften these areas there's nothing you need to figure out right now you can just be so tell your mind to slow down if thoughts pop in it's okay you're not here to stop your thoughts you're here to become the observer when the thought comes just look at it and let it float by like the fluffy white clouds in the sky so the aim is not to attach yourself to the thought just to notice and release let it float on by repeat these words to yourself I am not my thoughts I am the awareness behind my thoughts I can choose peace over pressure so just sit quietly allowing those words to settle into your body I am not my thoughts I am the awareness behind them I can choose peace over pressure now gently bring to mind a version of you who is calm who is clear and who trusts herself she exists within you just see her there in your mind's eye see her standing tall and notice the quiet power in her eyes she knows what truly matters she doesn't rush to figure things out because she trusts her timing her wisdom her path that is slowly unfolding so let yourself embody her step into her feel her energy within you now feel her power,
Her calm I trust myself I don't have to know everything before I move forward I am safe to take the next aligned step feel that steadiness feel that knowing feel that trust breathing into that verb that version of you committing to letting her guide you noticing that shift away from pressure to peace noticing the shift away from spiraling thoughts to stillness and notice that shift away from overthinking to inner knowing repeating these words silently I lead with calm with trust clarity comes when I create space I am already enough this inner calm isn't something you have to earn it's your natural state it is always available to you we can drop out of our mind into our body into this peaceful trusting,
Knowing state just start to notice your body and the chair on the bed bring some gentle movement back to your fingers and your toes roll your shoulders maybe take a stretch if it feels good and take a lovely big deep breath in and a sigh out and when you're ready you can open your eyes with this newfound clarity and with the reminder that you don't have to have all the answers you just need to keep choosing peace over pressure have a beautiful day
