In this guided meditation, you are gently led into a deep connection with your heart, establishing it as your “home base” for love and healing. After some light breath focus, you are invited to recall a loving memory, immersing yourself fully in the sensations and emotions it brings up. With your heart as the focal point, you’ll be guided to feel the warmth, lightness, and expansion of love at a deeply embodied level, allowing these feelings to surround and protect you. As you bask in this energy, you’ll breathe in all the love you already have in your life and for yourself, creating a safe sanctuary within your heart. When you make this practice a daily ritual to anchor your day, you’ll elevate your happiness and become a magnet for more love to come in. This track is a preview of my forthcoming audio course on Insight Timer, "Deep Healing for Love". Music by Music of Wisdom.

Transcript

Start by closing your eyes,

If you're comfortable with that,

And gently focus on your breathing,

Noticing the breath come in and out.

And continue with this gentle focus on your breath as you allow yourself to settle.

Now allow yourself to drift over some loving memories you can recall,

A loved one's face,

Hugging someone hello or goodbye at an airport,

Laughing with a favorite friend,

Or maybe a memory with your pet or a child you adore.

Choose one of these loving memories and drop deep down into it.

Bring to mind the sights,

Sounds,

Touch,

And feelings of that memory.

Once you feel the love of that moment fully,

Sense into your heart and rest your focus in the center of your chest.

Bring your full focus to anything you are feeling there,

Warmth,

Lightness,

Ease,

Expansion,

Calm,

Neutrality,

Whatever it is,

And just breathe into it.

Even if the sensations in your heart are subtle,

Just notice them.

You're teaching your body and your energy field this is what an open heart feels like.

Now imagine that you're actually surrounded by those feelings,

As if you're at the center of that loving energy,

Immersed in that warmth,

That lightness,

That love.

And you might even play with that loving energy field with a spirit of curiosity.

Imagine it is extending out from your heart about two to three finger lengths,

And feel what it's like to pass your hand through that force field of love,

That magnetic field of love,

And rest your hand upon your heart.

Recall the memory again to refresh that feeling,

That loving heart energy,

And notice how you are feeling about yourself in this moment.

As you are imagining being with your loved one and feeling their care for you,

How are you feeling about you,

Dear one?

How are you feeling about love when you're in your heart space?

And specifically,

How are you feeling about the love that you have in your life right now?

And bask in those feelings of being in your heart for just another moment.

Now slowly open your eyes and come back.

This is how you establish your heart as your home base and a safe haven for healing.

I invite you to try this practice every morning for the next week,

Right when you wake up.

Because if you start your days in your heart,

Then you have something to come back to the rest of the day.
