To be your true self is to be authentic and not swayed from your desires, goals and dreams. Near the end of this affirmation meditation is a short body scan to help if you wish to fall asleep.

In a moment,
You will begin a journey of achieving new ways of thinking,
An increased sense of your inner self and a renewed positivity.
Its ok if you use this meditation to fall asleep,
As the affirmations will be absorbed as you sleep,
Or if you wish,
You may use them at any time,
The choice is completely yours.
Affirmations are a practice that you can use to reinforce more positive thinking and can help you get past any sticking points like overthinking,
Anxious feelings or possibly any past memories that influence your way of thinking now.
Practicing affirmations are most effective either first thing in the morning or just before you go to sleep,
As this is when the mind is most receptive.
The practice of repeating or recalling the phrases that you will hear on a daily basis will ultimately become a natural and positive way of thinking as the days progress.
It takes around 21 days for the mind to form new habits,
So patience is a virtue.
Thinking about gratitude,
I'd like you to acknowledge what you already have.
You can use this as a baseline to recall your progress.
This forms a foundation for you to build results of self confidence,
Self love and finding peace,
Which you will see as improved situations are noticed in the real world.
Gratitude is a powerful human emotion and can transform your mood,
