This guided meditation helps you to connect with your breath and to the present moment. Take this time now for you to relax, let go and become fully aware of how you feel in body and mind. When your mind wanders, remember that this is okay. Its natural for the mind to do this. Just gently bring your awareness back to breathing, and with practice, your mind will wander less.

Let's begin by finding a comfortable position to sit or lie down.

Bring your awareness now to your breath.

Watch the inflow and the outflow of your breath.

As you inhale,

Feel the air pass through your nose.

And as you exhale,

Watch it pass back out.

Notice how this feels.

Don't try to force your breath.

Just let it flow naturally.

In and out.

Exhale in and exhale in.

Right now,

All you have to do is focus on your breath,

Going in and out.

No thoughts for the future or past.

Just this moment right now,

Breathing.

If your mind wanders,

That's okay.

Just gently bring it back to your breath.

Inhale in and exhale in.

Exhale in and exhale in.

Notice now how all your body feels.

Notice how your breath feels.

Is it smooth,

Rapid,

Shaky,

Or calm?

As you inhale,

Feel yourself relax.

And as you exhale,

Feel yourself melt away.

Inhale and relax.

And exhale,

Melt away.

Inhale and exhale.

Relax.
