Explore MeditationChristine has been teaching mindfulness since 2014. She is registered to teach MBSR (Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction) and MBCT (Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy) with the British Association of Mindfulness-based Approaches. She is also a certified teacher of ME-CL (Mindful Eating - Conscious Living) by the Center for Mindfulness at the University of California San Diego. She currently teaches mindfulness courses from the campus of the University of the West of England in Bristol, where she works as an Associate Professor of Mindfulness and Counselling Psychology. All courses are open to everyone, including university staff, students, and the local community. Online courses are attended by people from across the country. She is also an experienced counselling psychologist, and she integrates mindfulness and mindful eating into her individual psychotherapy work with adults in private practice. She works as a mindfulness researcher and academic as well, and she has conducted and published research on mindfulness, disordered eating, and body image.
