This is the World Premiere live performance of Ch’Lu’s final track on her "The Goddess Within" album : "The Silence". Captured from London's Piano Smithfield in The Barbican. The recording opens with an explanation of “The Silence”, a journey of “Om”, through the ancient Sanskrit texts of the Mandukya Upanishads. It is a new interpretation of the ultimate Sound Medicine, also representing the struggle to find this silence in today’s world. Composed, performed, recorded, mixed and produced by Ch'Lu, the track fuses binaural field-recordings (listen out for her electric toothbrush & phone swiping!), hypnotic Sanskrit vocals, classical guitar arpeggiation and electronic soundscapes.
