Fantastic.

So even if you've never had healing or any form of healing,

That's okay.

We all start somewhere,

Don't we?

Some of us start really,

Really young,

Some start later on in life,

Somewhere in the middle.

It's your journey,

Absolutely unique to you.

So this little chat I was going to cover,

Kind of,

Because they all blur into one really,

Don't they?

Three different modalities of healing.

Reiki,

Spiritual healing and shamanic healing,

Which is everything that I am qualified in,

In the healing world,

Aside from things like breathwork and meditation and other things like that.

So I'm going to start with Reiki,

And I'm just going to go through the real basics of what Reiki is,

Because some of you are Reiki practitioners.

Oh lovely,

Yeah,

Reiki shares,

Fantastic.

We do that on my retreats,

Reiki shares.

It can be quite powerful and intense.

Some of you here now will know that,

You've been there with me.

Reiki shares are wonderful.

I'll talk about that too.

So Reiki,

My journey with Reiki is this.

As a teenager,

Well from being born,

I knew that I was feeling things,

Seeing things,

Blah,

Blah,

Blah,

Blah.

Long story short,

In my teens I took my Reiki 1,

And then quite soon after I took my Reiki 2,

And about 10 years ago I did my Masters.

I'll explain what all of that means.

Reiki 1,

When you connect to Reiki energy,

You are attuned by a Reiki Master.

Reiki 1 is the first attunement,

And see Reiki attunements as being opened up to receive.

So traditionally in Reiki,

You become a channel.

You channel Reiki in through you,

And then you send it out through your hands.

Reiki 1 is that first opening to receive and flow.

Then Reiki 2,

It takes it a little bit deeper,

And that's when you become a Reiki practitioner in that you can offer healing to clients or make it more of a business.

Reiki 1 is more personal healing,

Healing family,

Friends,

Animals,

Plants,

Whatever it is that you want to heal.

And then Reiki 3 is kind of split into two.

So Reiki 3,

If you like,

Is taking that last final attunement and really fully opening up to receiving and channeling.

You learn a lot of symbols in 2 and in 3.

And then I guess the final 3B or Masters of Reiki is when you learn how to attune other people.

That is Reiki in a nutshell.

Reiki,

Universal energy.

That's what it means.

Reiki,

Key energy,

Universal energy.

Okay,

You have your Reiki 1,

Haven't used it.

I hear this so much.

You do your Reiki 1 and then maybe you not forget because you're always attuned.

You never become unattuned.

So Reiki 1 is always there,

But sometimes you lose your confidence of how to use it.

So I get quite a lot of people coming to me to sit through Reiki 1 again.

They don't need the attunement,

And they can have it if they want to,

But they don't need it.

But it's just a gentle reminder of how to use it and that support and that kind of nurturing.

So you are definitely Reiki 1 attuned still,

Laura.

It just might take a little bit of confidence and practice.

But on that note,

And this is something I meant to say at the start and I didn't,

Everybody has the capability of being a healer.

Every single one of us,

Because we're all energetic beings of complete vibrational,

Unconditional love and light in a human body.

And like I said a moment ago,

We all choose at what point in our journey,

If at all,

We connect to that and open up and start to work with it.

Okay,

So Reiki aside.

After doing my Reiki 2,

I then,

Through a beautiful,

Intricate journey,

Ended up studying my 200-hour spiritual healing training.

Spiritual healing is more focusing on the seven major chakras.

And you do touch on other chakras as well,

But mostly focusing on seven major chakras.

And also integrating some of the yin-yang energy in the body,

The masculine,

Feminine.

And with working with the chakras,

Wow,

I love,

I love working with these energy centers.

It is like an x-ray to you,

Your soul,

Everything physical,

Emotional,

Mental,

Everything.

Each chakra is connected to different aspects of our physical body,

Emotional body,

Spiritual,

Our soul.

So for me,

When I'm healing and going into the chakras,

It's just so amazing and so powerful.

And when you get to understand the chakras,

Which you will do today,

It gives you such an incredible insight.

And a little warning with this,

What I'm about to share.

Once you understand about the chakras,

If,

Well,

This is me,

If someone's just chatting,

Normal conversation,

And they just mention something about them physically,

That is something,

The first thought is,

Ah,

Well,

Then probably that chakra has some kind of samskara,

A block.

And so if you address that on the emotional or spiritual level,

That physical symptom will ease.

So anyway,

So spiritual healing is chakra work,

Connecting,

Healing,

Releasing,

Cleansing chakras,

And also addressing the yin and the yang balance in the body.

That takes longer to qualify in.

Like I said,

It's a 200 hour,

Generally 200 hour training,

Which is something that I'll be offering later this year.

And then finally,

Shamanic healing.

I only,

I guess,

Recently officially qualified as a shamanic healer a few years ago.

And the reason I got my official qualification is purely for a piece of paper,

I think,

Because once I started studying shamanic healing,

I realized it's what I've been doing for 20 years.

And everything that you use in the shamanic healing,

I'd already been incorporating it into my intuitive healing,

Which is the combination of Reiki,

Spiritual healing,

And then some.

Shamanic healing involves sound medicine,

It involves past life,

Ancestral work,

Going back,

Using the three worlds to work through various things,

Spirit animals,

Working with your angels,

Working with your higher consciousness,

Working with healing on on this reality.

Shamanic healing is really powerful in that journeying aspect.

I don't use medicine as in actual taking medicine in my healing,

And that's not something that I'm trained in,

But of course that can be part of shamanic healing,

Like ayahuasca and all the other ones that I can't think of off the top of my head.

So that is another aspect of shamanic healing too.

Anyway,

I have chatted enough.

The point of this was to show you how to connect to your energy and how it feels.

Going back to what I said,

Every one of us has the capability to heal.

Now,

Sometimes I say this,

And friends,

Families say to me,

Aren't you doing yourself out of work if I say everyone can heal themselves,

Because predominantly what I do is one-to-one healing.

But we all have the capability to cook for ourselves,

In some form,

But it's still nice to go out and eat.

So I see it that way.

We all have the capability of healing ourselves,

But it's nice for someone else to do it for us too.

That makes sense?

I think that makes sense.

I heal myself,

But I will go to someone else for energy work too,

Because it's lovely and it's nice and it's inspiring and it's connecting.

So the first thing I'm going to invite you all to try is to connect to,

And I want to start this really gently with you,

To connect to your yin and your yang energy,

To connect to the masculine and feminine.

So you can do this sitting up or you can do this lying down.

I would say close your eyes so you start that inward journey of connecting to you and stepping away from the external.

And I'll give you a moment to just settle into that space that you're going to be in.

Now this little technique I'm going to do with you now is one that I do when it's called for in my one-to-one sessions.

And it can be quite an eye-opener.

Now if you don't feel anything,

That's okay.

This is just a little taster into this healing energy connection.

So don't have any expectations about what you may or may not feel.

Let's start with a beautiful big inhale through the nose.

And if you can,

Sigh it out.

Draw the breath into the nose.

And sigh out.

Good,

And then draw into the nose.

And then release.

Beautiful.

So with your eyes closed,

I invite you to bring your awareness to the right side of your physical body.

This is the yang side,

The masculine.

A little physical awareness to begin and then we'll take it a bit deeper.

So becoming aware of your right foot and your right ankle and your toes,

Your right lower leg and your right knee.

Being aware of the right thigh and the hamstring,

The right hip,

Buttock,

All the way up the right side of your torso,

Ribs,

Chest,

Collarbone,

Shoulder blade,

And then all the way down from the right shoulder,

Down the arm,

Elbow,

Forearm,

Wrist,

Into the right hand and the fingers and the thumb.

Your mind might get pulled away,

Bring it back into the right side.

Be aware of the right side of your head and your face,

Your right cheek,

Right ear,

Right eye,

Right nostril,

The complete side,

The right side of your head.

You are fully connected to the right side of your body.

Notice any physical sensations that you're experiencing right now on the right side.

And I'll wait here for a moment.

And if there's any pain or sensation,

Don't try to do anything with it,

Just become aware that it's there.

Now let's take it a little deeper and notice any energy or emotions that might be sitting on the right side of you right now.

That one can be a little bit more challenging.

Just being aware of any emotions that are flowing through the right side of your body.

They're sitting anywhere in the right side of your body.

And then we're going to go just that little bit deeper and ask the right side,

What do you need?

How can I support you?

What do you need me to hear or feel right now,

Just on the right side?

And if your hands can reach and it feels comfortable,

Let your left hand probably,

Or maybe the right,

Rest somewhere on the right side of your body,

Maybe the face or the shoulder,

Anywhere that you're drawn to.

And just imagine beautiful,

White,

Loving light flowing out from the palms of your hands into that part of you,

Whether it is physical or whether it is an emotion or other energy,

White light flowing from the palm of your hands into that part of the right side of you.

And then giving just a little moment of gratitude to yourself,

Your energy,

The energy that flowed.

Now you draw your attention over to the left side.

We'll begin that physical journey from the sole of the left foot,

Just awareness first of the physical left toes,

Your left ankle and the left lower leg,

Left knee,

Left thigh and hamstring,

Left hip,

Left buttock,

All the way up the left side of your torso,

Ribs,

Organs,

Chest,

Collarbone,

Left shoulder,

All the way down the left arm,

Elbow,

Lower arm,

Wrist,

And into the left hand,

Fingers and thumb,

Completely connected to the left side of your body,

Left side of your head and face,

Left eye,

Cheek,

Nostril,

Left ear,

And all over the left side of your head.

Just notice here any physical sensations you're feeling,

No judgments,

Just feeling.

And go a little deeper.

See if you can feel or hear any emotions or energy that's sitting on the left side.

Let it speak to you.

You can ask it,

What do you need or what do you want?

If something has called your attention,

It's called your attention for a reason,

Whether that be physical or emotional or energetic.

So I'll wait here while you open that conversation with the left side.

And then intuitively to see if your hand or hands are drawn to any part of the left side of your physical body,

Whether there might not be a physical sensation,

But intuitively you're just drawn to that part of you and let your hands rest or hand and holding the intention,

A beautiful white flow of light and love is flowing out of the palms of your hand and into that part of you.

You may notice that there is sensations in your hands,

Heat or tingling or cold or energy feels like it's moving.

You may feel nothing,

That does not mean the energy is not flowing.

You may feel gratitude to the energy that has flowed.

So now we're going to move into the awareness of the seven major chakras in the energetic body.

And you may use both hands or one hand,

Let your intuition guide you.

So we're running up the midline of the body now,

So we've addressed the right side and we've addressed the left and now we're coming up the midline of the body where our beautiful nadis,

Our energy lines flow.

And the first chakra that we're going to connect to is the root,

The muddha dhara chakra that sits just below the base of the spine.

So if you can just gently take your hands down to that area,

You may rest your hands to support them so your arms don't get tired or you may just hover your hands just over one or both hands and just go with the intuition and just see what you feel.

If any thoughts,

Any sensations,

Any messages or wisdom,

And it's just like before,

Hold the intention as a beautiful white flow of love and light flowing from your hands and into the root chakra.

Some of you might find that your hands just intuitively move,

They might go up,

They might draw down,

They might spiral,

They might vibrate,

They might do nothing.

Each and every one of us is so unique on how we feel and work with energy.

Open the conversation with your root,

With the muddha dhara chakra.

This is our very physical chakra.

It's our earth,

Our grounding,

Our stability,

Our support.

It kind of all begins with the root,

A very physical chakra.

It's the one,

I guess,

That's most connected to the physical realm.

It's represented usually with a color red,

So maybe in your mind's eye you are seeing a color,

Maybe not.

And again,

Just you can ask it for a moment if there's anything it needs or wants or any wisdom that it wants to give you.

Now I'm going to start to guide you up through the other chakras,

But if your intuition is asking you to stay with one in particular,

Listen to your energy.

It knows the way.

You are a healer.

If your hand allows you,

Start to move the hand up to around the pelvis,

The center of the hips or pelvis,

To the sacral,

To the svadhisthana chakra.

And again,

Just allowing the hand to either rest on the body or hover just above and see and listen and feel.

The svadhisthana is traditionally a orange vibration.

If you're a visual healer,

You may see colors,

Shapes,

Symbols.

Open that conversation with the sacral chakra.

Is there anything it needs to share with you or allow you to feel here in this moment?

So again,

If you know that you need to stay here or even maybe move down to the root again,

You can stay.

If your hands allow it,

Gently draw up to around the navel,

The belly,

To our solar plexus,

The Manipura chakra,

Lustrous gem,

A golden energy.

Allow yourself to move if the energy wants you to move.

Maybe you're feeling sensations in the hands.

Maybe your hands are being moved as you hold it over the solar plexus.

You might even find that your hands move higher or just intuitively are guided up to a different place.

Trust that movement.

Open the conversation with the solar plexus.

Is there anything it needs to say or allow you to heal or feel?

Your energy of confidence and self-belief,

Decision-making and self-worth.

So we've now connected to the first three chakras,

The root,

The sacral,

The solar plexus.

The first three are traditionally more of the physical human realm chakras.

And you can move,

If your hands allow,

Up towards your heart,

One hand or two.

The Anahata chakra,

Our gorgeous green glow with the heart.

And allowing your hand to hover or to rest.

And listen.

Compassion,

Connection to self,

To others.

Self-love,

Allowing love in,

Sending love out.

What does your heart center want you to hear or feel?

Imagine that gorgeous white light flowing into the heart.

And before we move up to the three higher chakras,

Take a moment to ask,

Do you need to return back down for a moment to the root or the sacral or the solar plexus or stay at the heart?

You could always leave one hand somewhere else and continue the journey up.

And bringing your hand or hands up towards the throat center now to the Vishuddha,

A beautiful blue,

Traditionally a blue energy.

And the Vishuddha,

The throat chakra,

Is our truth and our expression,

Our creativity,

Our verbalizing our words and our energy into the world,

Into reality,

Rather than keeping them locked in.

Just allowing your hands to intuitively move.

Don't look at them.

They don't have to look in any certain way.

Just trust the energy flowing from your hands and where it needs to go.

And bringing your awareness up now to the third eye,

The brow center,

The Ajna chakra.

Traditionally,

A lilac or violet lavender color or energy of intuition and inner knowing wisdom.

That beautiful guidance that we sometimes forget to listen to.

Open the conversation with your third eye.

How does it feel?

What does it need to share with you right now in this moment?

Remember,

Your hands can just hover above it or rest.

Both hands can be there or just one.

Try not to open your eyes.

Stay internal as you allow this energy to flow freely.

And if this is your first time,

It might feel strange to have your hands hovering around your body or on your body.

And that's okay.

We're just exploring this today.

And in a moment,

We're going to take our way up to the very top of the head to the crown chakra.

The final one we're going to work with today.

The Sarasara chakra,

Just at the very top of the head.

White or golden light.

And this is the energy of soul connection,

Of higher consciousness.

Connecting with your soul,

With source.

You just have a little play around with the hands either resting around the top of the head,

On the head.

Allow it to move if it wants to move.

Enjoy this little experiment with your energy.

Smiling into it,

Letting the energy flow where it needs to go.

Okay.

And then for these last few moments,

Just bringing your hands down to the sides of your body.

If your hands allow,

The movement.

Take a breath in and out,

And then just let your hands move absolutely intuitively to wherever they need to go.

We have all those different places that we could explore.

Your hands might be drawn to a completely different part of you.

Just allowing that to happen naturally.

No force,

No expectation,

And see what you feel.

See what sensations,

Messages arise as the energy flows.

We are all healers.

And take a little moment here of gratitude to yourself,

The energy that has flowed,

And to any wisdom,

Or knowledge,

Or messages that you were received from yourself.

I just wanted to give you that little introduction to feeling the masculine and feminine,

And the chakra points.

What came about?

So interesting when you start working with the different energy centers.

So sadness and a guilt feeling on the right.

Right is your masculine.

Right is your doing busy side.

So then you can sit with those emotions that rose.

Now,

Without doing a full healing session and going deep into ancestral or this life or past life,

It would be hard to say where that was coming from.

But I initially my instincts would say guilt is coming from you just gave yourself some time out,

Some slowness,

Some peace,

Some healing.

And if you're ingrained with a samskara of don't stop,

Don't rest,

Busy,

Busy,

Busy,

Then the guilt will sit there because I'm resting.

I'm not doing anything.

Oh,

Amazing.

And then you had the release.

So left side is your yin.

It's your feminine.

It's your nurturing and nourishing and resting.

Also feet quite often connected to the root chakra,

You have a cold.

Sending you healing.

Maybe you need to slow down and rest a little bit.

Left soft.

That's nice.

And heat on the right.

Heat.

Yang is heat,

Isn't it?

It usually is heat.

So it's okay to feel heat on the right.

And it's just,

Then that's the other thing when you're working with the yin and the yang,

But also the chakras.

It's you finding if you're healing yourself,

You're kind of not midline,

Midpoint.

It's like feeling the heat on the right.

And then does it actually balance with the coolness on the left?

And that's when you're balanced.

So that's okay.

Right hip hurting,

Just pulling your attention.

Are you being a bit busy at the minute,

Do you need to slow down a little bit?

Hips are also very emotional centers,

Sacral,

Which I didn't say,

And I apologize,

But I didn't want to start going into that when I was already moved up.

Sacral is your emotions.

It's your creativity.

It's giving birth to ideas.

It's your Dharma.

So buzzing energy in your hands.

Beautiful.

Yeah.

Gorgeous.

Oh,

Yeah.

So healing itself,

For those of you who don't mind to be touched by someone,

I know some people don't like it,

But those of you do,

Just like having someone's hand on you is healing.

Imagine how you're sat there and someone just puts their warm hands on your shoulders and you're just kind of,

Okay,

Healing in itself.

So sometimes just by,

You know,

When you hurt yourself,

You automatically,

You rub it.

If you bang something,

You're like,

So yeah,

It's automatic healing when you put your hands on yourself.

So it's really nice to kind of sometimes just go,

Imagine that healing flowing.

Your hands were cold.

Antonio,

Sometimes one of my hands,

When I'm doing one-to-ones,

Goes absolutely freezing cold.

And then I have to sit with why that's just suddenly shifted.

So cold is not bad.

It's just an awareness.

I know you came at the end.

Good.

You have a diagnosis.

So,

Oh,

Sending you lots of healing and love.

And we,

Left thigh,

So yin,

Nerve pain.

So it might be that there's something that needs to be addressed on how you nurture yourself and care for yourself and nourish yourself.

Do you need to slow down?

Do you need to take a bit more time out for yourself?

It can feel uncomfortable.

You're resisting it,

Or you don't like it,

Or it's like,

I don't want to do this.

And you kind of fight it a little bit.

So that is also messages.

And those of you who do one-to-ones with me,

You've heard me say this before.

If we have an energetic,

Emotional imbalance,

Samskara going on,

Quite often as humans,

We just try to keep working through it and kind of push it down.

As human beings,

One of the ways to actually make us slow down is to have a physical pain or discomfort,

Because some of those we cannot ignore.

And we have to slow down,

Literally,

Like if you're something going on with your legs and you cannot walk,

You cannot keep moving forwards.

And then we have to pay attention,

Because it's harder to ignore that than an emotion or an energy.

Also,

It's a physical thing.

So human beings feel more justified to stop when they go,

Hey,

Look,

Actually,

This is sore,

This is broken.

So it's like having a,

Oh my goodness,

I need to stop using my hands and these things popping up.

It's like having a get out of jail free card.

It's like,

Well,

Look,

Look,

I'm allowed to slow down.

You know,

I'm allowed to slow down because this is hurting,

And it's stopping me.

You've got some gorgeous energy flowing there.

And then always a moment of gratitude to thank that energy.

And if you fall asleep while you're doing it,

Then just do your gratitude when you wake back up again.

But it's so good.

It's just such a shift of energy,

A stick of Palo Santo.

It smells a little bit sweeter,

Not horrible sweet,

But it's a softer smell to the sage.

So some people prefer Palo Santo.

Not such a strong smell,

And it's still very cleansing.
