The Annamaya Kosha, the first of the five layers of self. "Anna" means food, and this kosha is the layer made of nourishment, sustained by the elements of earth and water. The earth element gives your body structure, stability, and strength. It is present in your bones, muscles, and tissues. The water element flows through your blood, lymph, and vital fluids, offering hydration, lubrication, and renewal. Ask yourself: How do I nourish this body—physically, emotionally, spiritually? What does my body need from me in this moment? How can I offer my body more care, more love, more presence?
