Unheard.
If you're like me,
Maybe there's been a time in your life where you felt your voice has been silenced.
Maybe at times you've even felt like the people around you don't respect you enough to listen to what you have to say.
So how do we deal with that?
How do we effectively communicate that we deserve to be respected and we deserve to be heard?
In my opinion,
The first step to being heard starts with listening.
We spend so much time fighting to be heard that when the opportunity presents itself,
We don't even know what we want to say.
So let's take some time to quiet ourselves and listen so we can be clear on what it is we truly desire.
Then,
When the opportunity comes to be heard,
We can effectively speak up for ourselves,
Not out of a need for validation,
But because we know exactly what we need to move the story of our lives forward.
Before we begin,
Please make sure that you are in a safe and comfortable position.
Feel free to lie down or sit up.
Let's begin with a few cleansing breaths,
Breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth.
And if you're having trouble for any reason breathing through your nose,
Just breathe through your mouth.
Now take a deep inhale and exhale.

Now close your eyes and let's begin.
Right now you are giving yourself the gift of being heard.

Just be open to what may come as you move about your day and the coming week.
Be present with your thoughts and you may be surprised what messages may show up.
