
Inner Strength Guided Meditation

Get out of stressful thoughts and connect to the place of inner strength and courage within you.
Transcript
So let's begin by closing our eyelids lightly and focusing in on that space behind our eyelids.
By focusing in on that space behind your eyelids,
You allow yourself to come fully into this present moment.
You allow the thoughts of the back of the mind to slowly quieten down as you bring your awareness to that space behind your eyelids.
And as you're focusing on that space,
Become present with any shapes or colors or any movement present.
There may be complete darkness.
Simply observe that screen.
It's like having your own inner TV screen.
And just allow yourself to come into the here and now,
The beauty of this present moment and focus on what's on your screen.
And as you're focusing on that screen,
Just observe the moment to moment changes,
Allowing yourself to be in the here and now and become fully present of yourself in the here and now.
Feel your body weight either sitting or lying down.
Feel the sensations in your body,
Clothing on your skin.
Be present with this very moment.
And as you're focusing on this very moment,
Become fully present with your body now and feel the feelings in your body.
And as you're aware of your body,
Locate your breath.
And feel the inhale breath and the exhale breath.
And allow yourself to be present with the flow of your breath,
Feeling the gentle flow of the inhale and the exhale breath.
Feel your inhale breath rising up and feel your exhale breath sinking down.
And just feel the movement of your breath up and down the body.
As you trace your breath up and down the body.
Feel the rise of the inhale breath and the fall of the exhale breath.
And just feel your breath move within your body.
Feel the lightness of your breath in your body.
Feel the breath relaxing the body.
Slowly moving through the body.
Feel the slow movement of your inhale breath and the slow movement of your exhale breath.
And begin to note a pause between the inhale and exhale breath.
As you inhale,
Note the pause at the top of the breath.
And as you exhale,
Note the pause at the bottom of the breath.
And just notice these pauses,
Inhale,
Pause,
Exhale,
Pause.
And just take a few breaths,
Counting the gaps and these pauses between your breaths.
Inhale,
Pause.
Exhale,
Pause.
And just do a few in your own mind.
Just becoming present with the pauses between your breath.
Without holding your breath,
Just allow the breath to rise up and pause and sink down and pause.
And just feel the flow of your breath.
Allow your breath to soften the body.
Feel the exhale breath relaxing the body as you begin to extend the exhale breath,
Breathing all the way out to the full completion of your breath.
Exhale slowly,
Exhale completely.
And with every exhale breath,
Feel your body letting go.
Feel the body softening.
Feel the body relaxing.
Feel the body releasing.
Softening your whole body.
Relax all the way from the top of your head.
Around your eyes,
Your jaw,
Soften the jaw.
Just releasing any tightness or tension in the body.
Relax the neck,
Soften the shoulders,
Soften your chest,
Completely soften your belly.
Pushing the belly out.
All the way down.
As you feel the front of your body relax,
Feel your arms relax.
Relaxing and softening your arms.
Ensuring your palms are open.
And just let go of whatever your hands are holding onto.
Let go of whatever the body is holding onto.
Feel that tingling in your hands.
And relax all the way down the spine.
Notice any tension or emotion in the spine,
Any tightness or any blocks.
And completely soften the spine.
Feeling your breath through each and every vertebrae of the spine.
And relax all the way from your upper back,
Your middle back,
Your lower back.
All the way down through your pelvis,
Down through your legs,
All the way to the base of your feet.
And just feel your body completely relaxed.
The only thing you can feel moving through your body is your breath.
Feel the openness and the expansiveness in your body.
Feel the softness.
Feel the relaxation.
And I want you to imagine a time where you felt really strong.
A time you felt confident,
In control,
And you could feel that place of inner strength.
And just think about that time for a few moments.
It may have been a time in the past or you may be imagining a time in the future where you feel completely strong.
And as you're imagining yourself in this beautiful place of strength,
I want you to feel where you feel that inner strength in your body.
Usually we feel that inner strength deep in the core of our belly,
In our spine.
And really feel it strong in your belly.
Feel that inner core strength.
And see that strength as a flickering light.
A little flame that's flickering deep within yourself.
And I want you to focus on that flame.
Focus on that inner light.
See the glow.
The bright orange,
Reds.
Feel the strength in its essence.
And imagine just in front of that space that you have a dial.
Like the dial of a stove or an oven.
And just imagine turning up that dial as you imagine that flame increasing and that flame growing.
And turn it up so you can see it strong and bright and bold.
And feel that flame and that warmth deep within your body.
Feel that strength growing in your body.
As you focus on it,
It builds.
As you focus on it,
It expands.
And turn up that dial.
Turn it up.
Keep on turning it up until you feel it strong and bold inside of you.
And you can see the depth of your core lit up with this powerful light.
And you can feel the warmth of this strength.
The warmth of this courage through your body.
And as you're turning it up,
Send that light all around your body.
Turn that flame up.
Feel it glowing through your chest.
Feel it glowing through your throat.
Feel the strength of that light through your arms.
Feel it down your spine.
Feel it in your legs.
Down your arms.
See yourself completely illuminated by the warmth of this light.
And feel that strength.
See the power.
And feel the power deep within you.
And just notice how that strength feels.
Notice how that courage feels.
Notice that you feel so strong,
So powerful within yourself that you can handle anything in front of you.
Unbreakable.
Powerful.
Unstoppable.
Everything that you need is within you right now.
And as you focus on that inner core strength,
You can feel all those resources.
You can feel all that power within yourself.
And turn it up even more.
Turn up that dial.
Turn it up.
Allow your body to get to know this inner strength.
Allow your body to feel your inner power.
Allow the mind to notice it.
Notice how focused the mind is on this inner power.
You are strong,
Courageous,
Powerful,
Resilient.
Everything that you need is within you right now.
Feel it.
Feel that moving through your body.
Feel that power surging through your veins.
Feel the tingling.
Focus on that inner glow and expand it all around you.
Expand yourself.
As you turn up that dial,
Expand bigger and bigger and feel the growth of your power.
Feel that expansiveness.
Notice how strong you feel in your feet,
In your legs,
In your belly,
In your chest,
In your spine,
In your arms,
In your shoulders,
In your face,
In your mind.
Feel that power and just allow it to simmer through your body.
Allow your body to learn this place,
To integrate this space.
Allow yourself to learn how easily it is to access this space,
To turn up that dial.
Expand your power whenever you need.
And just allow yourself to focus on this space for a few more breaths.
Feeling that light expanding it through your body and feeling it expand all around you.
Reminding yourself that everything you need is within you right now.
Everything is in that power.
Your focus,
Your courage,
Your strength,
Everything.
Feel the power.
It's a peaceful,
Calming confidence that's bubbling all around your body.
And just bring yourself back into the awareness of the here and now.
Bring your awareness back to this very present moment and feel those feelings in your body in this very present moment.
Feel the power.
Feel the strength.
Feel that confidence.
Feel that courage in your body right here,
Right now.
And just notice how you can take that dial and you can turn it down just to allow that light to just flicker very gently inside of you.
And notice as you need you can just turn it up and you can turn it down.
And most importantly,
You can feel this place of inner strength and know how to return to it easily and effortlessly anytime you need.
And just allow yourself to feel that in the body.
Feel that place of connection.
Feel that place of power and feel your breath moving through that place of power as you gently bring your awareness back to your breath and move your breath and move this power through your body.
Feel the strength in your breath.
Feel the certainty within yourself.
Feel the courage.
Feel the strength of your own inner essence,
Your own inner core strength.
Everything that you need is within you right now.
Simply bring your awareness back to that space behind your eyelids and just notice how that feels now.
Feel the strength and the calmness and the presence within you.
Feel the stillness and the focus.
And when you're ready,
Slowly open your eyes.
