Great,

So making sure that you are super comfortable,

You're all nestled and snuggled in,

Ready for some really wonderful relaxation.

Close your eyes and take a really deep,

Full-volume breath in.

So breathe into the top of the lungs,

Draw the breath all the way down into the bottom of your lungs,

Let your belly inflate,

And as you exhale,

Really slowly let your belly drop back towards the spine,

You let the breath go,

Two or three more of these breaths in your own time.

And if you haven't already,

Close your eyes,

Invite in any sounds or movements that might arise in your environment so that it's never a distraction,

It's just something that comes and goes,

The world that's happening around you.

And whatever is underneath you,

If it's your bed,

If it's a couch,

A chair,

Just feel it rising up underneath you and holding and supporting you,

So you can just let go.

Relax the backs of your eyes,

Just like you're feeling them sink back into the skull and your temples relax and your jaw.

Relax your neck and your shoulders,

Let your arms get really heavy,

Even in the center of your palms relax,

And it's like a wave of ease goes down your spine,

Feel your abdomen,

Your back,

Your hips and your legs get super heavy,

Even the arches of your feet relax.

Just noticing your breath slowing down,

Everything is just slowing down and settling in.

And then guide your awareness up to the crown of your head and visualize a source of energy there.

Maybe it's a light,

Maybe it's a particular color,

You can't do this wrong,

Maybe you see it as a blue star,

Maybe whatever it is,

Give it a texture,

Is it glittery,

Is it a bright light,

Is it cool,

Is it warm?

And then guide your awareness down to the space between your eyes and even deep into your skull and same thing,

However you see this is exactly right.

Guiding your awareness to the center of your throat,

Into your heart,

Guiding your awareness to your right shoulder,

Right elbow,

Right wrist,

To the tip of your right thumb,

Right index finger,

The tip of your right middle finger,

Right ring finger,

Right little finger.

Guiding your awareness to your right wrist,

Right elbow,

Right shoulder,

To the center of your heart,

Left shoulder,

Left elbow,

Left wrist,

To the tip of your left thumb,

The tip of your left index finger,

Left middle finger,

Tip of your left ring finger,

Left little finger,

Left wrist,

Left elbow,

Left shoulder,

To the center of your heart.

Guiding your awareness to the upper part of your abdomen,

Your solar plexus,

To the lower part of your abdomen below your navel and to the base of your spine,

To your right hip,

Right knee,

Right ankle,

To your right big toe,

Right second toe,

Middle toe,

To the right fourth toe,

And the right pinky toe,

Right ankle,

Right knee,

Right hip.

Guiding your awareness back to the base of your spine,

Left hip,

Left knee,

Left ankle,

Left big toe,

Left second toe,

The left middle toe,

The left fourth toe,

And the left pinky toe,

Left ankle,

Left knee,

Left hip,

And guiding your awareness to the base of your spine.

Guiding your awareness to your lower abdomen below your navel,

To the upper part of your abdomen,

Your solar plexus.

Guiding your awareness to the center of your heart,

To your throat,

To the space between your eyes,

And to the crown of your head.

Visualizing as you inhale a stream of light from the crown of your head all the way down to the base of your spine.

As you exhale,

That stream of light journeys from the base of your spine all the way up to the crown of your head.

Continuing to breathe and visualize this in whatever color,

However that light flows,

If it's a stream of mist,

Glittery,

Or if it seems liquid,

You can't do this wrong.

Visualizing the breath from the crown of the head to the base of the spine,

And from the base of the spine to the crown of the head.

Your breath begins to feel so gentle,

It's as if you become breath.

Beginning to feel the tension really letting go from your body.

The skin that is wrapped over your skull begins to release its grip.

Begin to feel the tension release from the temples running down and along and around the ears,

Along the lower ridge of your jaw,

And around the back ridge of the base of your skull.

All of that tension just take a big breath in,

And as you breathe out it just goes away.

Any tension and tightness in your throat of whatever is being held there for whatever reason,

You just,

As you breathe,

You feel that knot being unraveled.

If you'd like,

You could even take a gentle breath in through your nose and maybe even open your mouth and sigh it out.

In that area around your heart,

In the front,

In the back,

The top to bottom,

In the center,

Your whole heart region just softens.

It's as if you can feel your pulse throughout your whole body.

Pulse of your heart beating.

You feel that space under the wings of your shoulders just releasing any knotting that's there.

It's as if you can feel a wave of relaxation weaving its way through each of the ribs of your ribcage,

Just weaving around and through and massaging.

And relaxing and releasing even those muscles.

You notice your shoulders settling back a little bit more and your heart feeling a little bit more free.

Your belly starts to relax,

Your hips and your lower back.

It's like that any tension or aching in the lower back just kind of melts down out of you.

With all of this tension releasing from your body,

You can intuitively see and feel that stream of light that's running from the base of your spine to the top of your spine.

It's your spine.

It's connected to what is above and what is below and it's just running fluidly so that you begin to feel that light expanding,

Expanding,

Expanding,

Filling in the places that need just a little extra light.

And it has the wisdom.

It knows where it exactly needs to go.

In your physical fiber where it needs to fill in,

In the energetic anatomy,

In the emotional state of being,

In the mind,

You just let it go.

That light just begins to flow and fill your whole entire physical container in this body.

That if you were hovering over yourself,

Levitating,

You would see this beautiful golden glow emanating from your pores.

Just letting your soul stretch out in all directions.

And maybe even a simple prayer rises up within you,

From you to you,

Simply saying thank you,

Thank you,

Thank you,

Thank you to yourself.

Thank you,

Thank you,

Thank you.

Just thank you.

Feeling your breath.

And maybe even finding a very subtle point of sensation of the breath.

Maybe right at the base of the nostrils.

It's as if you can notice the most subtle whisper of breath as it flows in and out through your nose and your whole awareness just rests right there with that.

If there are any personal prayers,

Reflections of gratitude,

Anything that just naturally arises,

Allow it to flow through you instead of being something that you recite,

Something that you feel.

And I invite you to stay right in this place,

Enjoying this ease,

Taking this time of deep rest and rejuvenation.
