So you're feeling some fear.

We all do that from time to time.

Some of us more than others.

Some of us have times where we feel like we never have a time where we're not feeling fearful.

And my guess is if you're listening to this,

You may be having one of those times where right now you are in the middle of feeling fear.

And fear can be paralyzing.

Fear can stop us in our tracks.

It can prevent us from being able to think creatively.

It can lead to us feeling isolated and uncertain.

We can spend time second guessing.

Fear is a very large emotion that sometimes prevents us from seeing the truth.

Well several years ago I was in one of these situations myself.

And I felt like I was getting a divine download.

Which I'm going to share with you today.

In that moment I had found myself saying things that I believe to be 100% true.

Such as,

I no longer have enough money.

Nobody's got my back.

This thing that's just happened to me is the worst thing ever.

I will never recover from this particular thing that is going on.

And all of those things that I just mentioned felt real.

They felt incredibly real.

But fortunately for me in that moment I had this awareness that I was not telling myself the truth.

Now that's what we do.

Fear prevents us sometimes from seeing the truth.

So we're not consciously lying to ourself.

But often we are not telling ourselves the truth.

And in that moment I got a download.

And it's for the acronym of the word fear.

F-E-A-R.

And this is my offering to you.

If you're sitting right there in fear right now.

It is find evidence of your actual reality.

So in that moment when I was saying I don't have any money.

I looked around and I said that's actually not true.

I have money.

I have 35 cents that I just found in the couch cushion.

I have $72 in the bank.

I had $5,

000 in an emergency fund which I just had to use on an emergency.

I had just filled the gas tank in my car.

I had just bought groceries for myself and my children.

Do you see what I was doing?

I was gathering facts about my reality about my reality around money and what money brought to me.

That in fact it was not true that I had no money.

It was not true.

I was finding evidence of my actual reality.

And as that happened I began to move out of the part of my brain where I was absolutely stuck in fear in that fight or flight or flee.

In Mike's case I was being frozen.

And I was able to move into reality where I went oh wait a minute and I've got a paycheck coming next week and I've got a new job over here that starts two weeks from now.

And I have this and I have that and I have this and I have that.

And my central nervous system began to calm down as I told the truth.

Now it didn't eliminate my sadness for having to spend all of my savings on this emergency.

It didn't fix everything that had been triggered in that moment.

But finding evidence of my actual reality began to right size fear.

So that's my invitation to you.

If you're feeling fear right now I ask you to go with an observer mind with a curiosity with a genuine curiosity of what is the truth.

So notice what you might be saying to yourself in a moment of fear.

Oh my goodness I have no friends.

They'll never they'll hate me if they learn about this thing that I've done.

Well is that really true?

Have you ever had a friend be disappointed with you and they're still your friend?

Have you have evidence that other people can know these kinds of things about some people and they're still their friends?

Find evidence of your actual reality.

If you're terrified that you won't survive an upcoming divorce or you will not be able to pull through after being laid off of your job.

I want you to look around for evidence of yourself having already done difficult things.

But also look at other people who have who have traversed the same things that you're about to do and borrow evidence from them.

Find evidence of the actual reality.

Begin to gather facts and that will calm down your central nervous system.

And why is that important?

Because when you're in that real place of fear you can't be creative.

You can't find the right you can't find the next strategies.

So that is my offering to you.

Acknowledge that you're in fear.

Even own it.

Even appreciate it because it's gotten your attention.

Fear is a beautiful thing that gets our attention.

But then if you want to move out of it look for the evidence that what you're most afraid of is not true.

Blessings to you.
