This is a practice for cultivating trust in the unknown through embodied presence.

Let's begin by finding a comfortable position,

Seated or lying down or in any posture that feels supportive.

I gently begin to close your eyes or soften your gaze.

Starting to bring your attention to your breath,

Noticing its natural rhythm.

Placing one hand on your heart and the other over your lower belly or your womb space.

And really just feeling the warmth of your hands here.

Feeling the rise and fall of your breath between them.

With each exhale,

Allow your body to soften.

Starting to unwind and release any tension.

And giving yourself permission to arrive fully in this moment.

Feeling held by the earth beneath you.

Now you're invited to bring to mind an area in your life where uncertainty resides.

A place where answers are not yet clear.

I'm just holding this in your awareness for a moment.

What feels uncertain?

Where in your life are answers not yet clear?

Begin to notice how your body responds as you hold this unknown.

Where do you feel sensations arising?

Where do you notice a tightening or a contraction?

And simply observe these sensations without judgment.

It's really creating space to acknowledge the experience in your body when you hold this unknown in your awareness.

As you rest here with the unknown,

Begin to gently notice what emotions are present in your body.

Is there fear,

Anxiety,

Sadness,

Grief,

Maybe even anger or frustration?

There's nothing to fix or change here.

We're just noticing what feels alive for you right now.

We're coming back feeling that emotion.

Where do you feel it in the body most strongly?

Does it have a texture or a temperature or a color?

Start to take a long,

Deep breath into that emotion,

Into the place where you feel that emotion.

And a big breath out through the mouth.

And just stay here with your breath,

Stay here with that emotion,

Letting it know that it's welcome here.

Letting it know that it's welcome to take up space.

Letting it know that you're not leaving,

That you're here to be with it.

Let your breath hold this emotion with compassion as you let it move through you,

As you let yourself feel what's there.

And you might even place a hand on the part of the body where you feel sensation.

Offering this presence,

This holding.

And just knowing that this emotion that is rising up,

That is moving through you,

Is part of your path towards trust.

It's not in the way,

It is the way.

And the more you're willing to feel and be with this experience,

The more space you can create for faith to rise within you.

By just continuing to stay with your emotional experience.

Offering that deep,

Loving presence.

Slow,

Soft breaths.

And just notice the shift in how you're feeling.

Notice if maybe a different emotion is rising or perhaps there's some spaciousness.

Staying with whatever comes up.

Now I invite you to imagine the unknown,

Not as something to fear,

But as a fertile space of possibility.

You can visualize yourself resting within this space,

This womb of potential,

Supported and safe.

Welcoming in the feeling of the ground beneath you,

Steady and unwavering.

As you rest within this fertile space of possibility.

And with each breath,

Allow yourself to sink deeper into this held space.

And perhaps even connecting to a feeling of trust in the process unfolding.

And if resistance comes up for you,

As you try and tap into that,

That's okay.

Letting yourself be with that experience,

You don't need to push it away.

Notice the resistance,

Let it rise.

Be with it.

And staying with that intention to sink deeper into the support of this space of possibility.

And from here,

You can gently ask yourself,

Where does faith reside in me today?

Where can I access a sense of trust within me today?

And just notice how the body responds.

There's sensation.

Maybe there's a subtlety to it.

A sense of warmth,

A sense of peace,

A quiet knowing.

Just notice where you feel guided in your body.

Tuning into this sensation,

No matter how faint or distant it feels.

And just allowing it to expand with each breath.

Expanding this space of faith,

The sense of trust within you with each breath.

And letting it grow,

Letting it move through you.

And just notice how it feels to let this sensation,

This feeling grow and expand inside you.

And knowing that this is a place you can always return to.

This place inside you that knows,

That remembers.

And as we come to the end of this journey,

Just taking a moment to acknowledge what you felt,

What you noticed,

What you connected with.

And just affirming to yourself,

I am held and supported in the unknown and the space of uncertainty.

I choose to trust in the unfolding of my journey.

Take a big breath into that.

Let it fill you up.

And a big breath out through the mouth.

And gently start to bring yourself back.

Wiggle fingers and toes,

Move the head side to side.

Take a stretch,

Maybe bringing hands to the body.

And really taking your time before eventually opening your eyes.
