The last 20 months have been some of the most tumultuous which many of us have experienced in this lifetime. It's been - a lot. This meditation is a reminder to extend yourself some grace and tenderness, a reminder to be as gentle with yourself as possible.

Hello,

This is Chantal Miller and today I am sharing one of my favorite mantras with you.

It's one which I regularly tap into when I am seeking to ground and also to remind myself that tenderness is always available to me.

Okay?

So,

If you can,

Find a comfortable place where you can sit or lie in a way which feels really supportive.

When I practice this particular mantra,

I like to place my left hand on my heart and my right hand on my tummy.

This just feels so good to me.

But of course,

You can choose not to hold yourself this way.

Please do what feels good to you.

Okay,

Are you settled in?

Are you comfortable?

Beautiful.

Now,

Let's begin by taking a few really deep breaths.

And so,

I'm asking you to breathe in as if you were inflating a balloon so your tummy comes out.

So,

Let's do it together.

Deep breath in and a deep breath out.

Now,

You can sigh it out as I choose to or not.

Again,

Do what feels good for you.

Let's try that again.

Take a deep breath in and out.

Beautiful.

And now,

Repeat after me,

Sky above me,

Earth below,

Peace within.

Sky above me,

Earth below,

Peace within.

Sky above me,

Earth below,

Peace within.

Take note of how you feel.

And a deep breath in and let it all out.

And wherever you are,

If you can just reach your arms around your body,

Wrap yourself in love and hold yourself.

Beautiful.

And slowly unfold your arms and wherever you are,

If you can wiggle your toes and wiggle your fingers and gently open your eyes and feel yourself coming back into your space.

And remember that you are loved.

Have a wonderful day or night.

Wow, this was just beautiful!! Thank you so much🥰. Everything about this was just perfect, from the music to the way you guided us through the meditation 🥰. I’d specifically like to highlight that I really loved the way you guided us through the meditation with so much compassion and tenderness as the name suggests🥰. An incredible, incredible mini break, and I stood near an open window with the cool, night breeze and the stillness of the hour as I did this practise, choosing to place my hands on my heart and belly, and it felt magical. You have an amazing voice for stories and narration, so I think it would be amazing to see some stories read by you, or even your original stories here🥰. Just a suggestion, hope you’ll consider it🥰. Thank you!

A sweet, centering meditation narrated beautifully. I imagine it can be great as a quick mid-day pause or when things get overwhelming. Thank you.
