Grounding Meditation: Connecting To Your Three Power Sources

A triple grounding exercise, this meditation focuses on rooting your energy intoto Gaia, plugging into the power of Source and connecting yourself into the broader Cosmos ahead of any energy work you're planning, or just to give you some extra support to go about your day!

This next exercise is your opportunity to ground and to connect wholly and completely right here and right now.

So wherever you are,

Whatever you're doing,

I invite you to start by taking a big deep breath in and if you can closing your eyes.

As you breathe in feel that fresh clean air as it flows into you and flows all around every part of your body,

Spreading out until it nourishes,

Fills and cleanses every part of you.

Allow yourself to pause in that place of fullness with that nourishment flowing through you and when you're ready release as loud and as long as you need to.

Exhale everything and anything that you don't want to carry forward into this next little while.

You don't want to carry forward from this point onwards.

Again once that exhales don't hold yourself for just a moment in that place of emptiness,

That place of possibility,

That place of knowing that your next need will be met as soon as you need it to be.

And when you're ready take a second big deep breath in and pause and release and pause and one more big deep breath in and pause and release and pause.

Continue to breathe at the rhythm,

The depth and the pace that feels right to you.

And as you do I invite you to draw your attention to that space at the back of your neck where your skull meets your spine,

Your causal chakra.

See a door opening there and see a root,

Almost like a tree root,

Of perfect golden white light moving out of that door and downwards,

Down through your spine,

Moving past every single vertebrae as that root moves downwards and downwards.

That golden white light getting brighter and brighter and broader and broader as it moves ever down through your spine.

And when that root reaches your own root chakra at the very base of your spine see it move outwards,

See it move outwards and become broader still,

As broad as your entire physical body.

Broader than that even,

As broad as your entire energetic body as this root that is the whole breadth of you moves downwards down into the chair or the bed that you're resting on,

Down into the floor of the room that you're in,

Down through the rest of the building and through the foundations beneath you,

Down into the earth,

Into the stone and the soil that is the earth's surface and that exists below the earth's surface,

Down through the rivers and the streams that are part of this earth unseen,

Down through the caves and the caverns of the inner earth.

See that root of yours,

That golden white root continue to grow downwards,

Down through the ring of fire,

The magma that surrounds and protects the heart of Gaia and as that root of yours breaks through that fire and moves into the crystal heart of Gaia see in front of you a tree,

A beautiful tree,

The most beautiful tree you've ever seen,

Comprised of that same golden white light and as your root grows ever further towards hers you see the roots of that tree stretching out,

Opening to you,

Welcoming to you,

Inviting you forwards,

Inviting your roots to connect with hers and as the two sets intertwine with one another feel that Gaia energy as it immediately flows into your root.

Feel it as it flows up through all those layers of earth,

All the way up through those layers of the building beneath you,

Right the way back into your root chakra and right up your spine.

Feel that Gaia energy of nourishment,

Of support,

Of love,

Of safety,

Of being held so beautifully,

So gracefully by this beautiful planet of ours.

It wants nothing but to support us,

To care for us and to remind us that all of our needs are met in any given moment,

At any time and in every way and as that Gaia energy flows around you,

Through you and within you allow yourself to see a second door opening up this time in your solar plexus just above your navel.

See that door as it opens and a beam of perfect golden light begins to spread upwards up through the top of your abdomen,

Up through your chest,

Up through your shoulders and your neck,

Up through your head and as that golden light breaks out of the top of your head,

Out of your crown chakra,

Again see it becoming brighter and brighter,

Pure gold.

See it becoming broader and broader too until it looks as though the whole of your body is encased in this beautiful beam of golden light that just keeps moving upwards,

Up through the ceiling of any room that you're in,

Up through the rest of the building and the roof of the building that you find yourself in,

Up up into the sky through the clouds,

Up through all those layers of the Earth's atmosphere and out into space,

Moving up through the stars and the planets,

Up through the galaxies and the universes,

Moving all the way up until you feel like this beam of golden light is about to reach the very edge of space and just when you feel that,

Just when you feel that you've come to the end,

The light breaks out of the darkness of space and out into a place that is that same perfect golden light.

This is the centre of all that there is,

The home of source and as the beam of light of yours moves out into that home of source,

You allow yourself to feel the peace,

The safety,

The certainty that comes with being in this place.

You notice your own beam of light as it easefully,

Without having to try,

Without having to look,

Just seamlessly plugs itself into its own perfect space as though it's done it a million times before and as your beam of light connects into this place,

Again you feel that source energy,

That source energy that is tinged so beautifully with your own energy begin to flow back down through that beam of light,

Down through all those layers of space and sky,

Down into your crown chakra and all the way down through your trunk,

Down into your solar plexus.

You feel that source energy beginning to flow through,

Around and within you,

Filling you up with that sense of peace,

Of grace,

Of knowing that you have got this and ever remembering who you are and you feel not only that source energy in you but also the Gaia energy too,

Feeling the way that those two dance together within you in that timeless sacred marriage of heaven and earth,

Of source and Gaia,

Of the divine feminine and the divine masculine.

Feel the way those two energies connect within you,

Feel the alchemy that's created when they do and feel yourself as the sacred container for this,

As the powerful host of this union and as the one who will benefit from what happens within this dance.

As that dance continues we send out one third chord from your sacral center just below your navel out and down,

Down right the way through the center of the earth this beam of white light flies fast,

Straight and true like an arrow through that center of the earth and out and down into the opposite direction of space whizzing past stars and planets,

Whizzing past galaxies,

Whizzing all the way through the cosmos until you reach a point where there is no more light,

Where you are just in perfect,

Perfect darkness.

But this isn't the kind of darkness that feels worrisome or upsetting,

Instead it feels safe,

Nourishing,

Supportive,

Comforting.

This is the cosmic womb,

The place where all things are made tangible,

Where nothing is yet born but everything is in gestation,

Everything is being created around you as you speak and as that beam of light of yours finds itself here,

Again it easefully,

Seamlessly finds the perfect place to connect in and as it connects that cosmic energy flows back to you bringing into your sacred center that perfect energy of possibility,

Of creation,

Of opportunity and of expansion and as that energy flows into you you feel that beam of light,

That cord that connects you to cut to the cosmos as a circuit,

A circuit which carries out of you anything that's become stale or stuck,

Anything that is no longer needed or anything that simply needs to return to this place,

To this center of creation,

To be refreshed,

Rejuvenated and returned as something made manifest.

Allow yourself to sit now in this space rooted in Gaia,

Plugged into Source,

Connected to the cosmos with all three of those energies flowing in,

Around and through you,

Knowing that you are held,

You are safe,

You are guided,

You are powerful,

Knowing that all is possible and that you are aligned fully and completely with expansion.

Sit in this space for as long as you need to and tune into these energies and if you'd like to pause this recording while you do that feel free.

When you're ready we're going to disconnect each of those cords and pull them all the way back into your own energy body.

So starting with that cosmic connection I invite you to disconnect the cord now and pull it back,

Back through space,

Back through the centre of the earth and all the way back into your sacral centre.

Pulling that cord back in there allow yourself to feel that cosmic energy coming back into you,

Allow yourself to feel that potential,

That expansiveness,

That creativity as it finds its home within you.

Moving upwards I invite you to unplug that beam of light from the centre of Source,

Pulling it back down so that that golden light comes back through all those layers of space and sky,

All the way back down into your crown chakra and then back further still into your solar plexus,

Bringing with it not only that Source energy but the remembrance of who you are,

The remembrance of your own soul's power,

Wisdom,

Wholeness and truth.

And then finally move downwards and see those roots of yours disentangling from those roots at the centre of Gaia.

See your own root as it moves away from that tree and begins to move back upwards up through the fire and the water,

Through the air and the earth,

All the way back up through the foundations and the building that you're in,

Through the chair or the bed that you're on,

All the way back into your root chakra and then back up your spine,

Blessing each and every vertebrae it passes with that support,

That nourishment and that love of Gaia as it comes all the way back into your causal chakra.

And know as we pull back in these connections that you are always connected,

Always held by Gaia,

Always guided by Source and always inspired by the cosmos but that for right now each and every one of these connections is fully back in your body,

Back in your own energetic system and back in your physical self.

Bring yourself back wholly and completely into your body,

Have a good stretch,

Allow yourself to settle back into the moment feeling the weight of your body on the chair or the bed,

Feeling this temperature of the air as it moves around your face,

Stretching yourself out rolling your head on your neck and when you're ready and fully back open your eyes.
