Welcome to your shoulder pain relief meditation.
I'm Kaylin and I'll be breathing with you today.
So how long have you been carrying the world on your shoulders?
How long has it been where you just carry it all?
Everything.
We all forge along.
We bear it,
We press on,
We push through.
So today if you're feeling tired,
Beaten down,
We are going to lift that weight and clear some of the heavy energy associated with the shoulders.
I invite you to set a few things down today and breathe with me.
It is said that everything has either a yin or yang energy.
And so the left is yin,
Thinking and feeling,
And the right is yang,
Action.
So as we breathe together,
Think about your shoulders as two separate entities that carry the weight of many different decisions.
And we breathe into the shoulders and ask for relief.
Let's begin.
Take a deep breath in,
Setting your awareness at your left shoulder.
Hold it at the top and just feel into the area.
Let the breath all the way out,
Slow and steady.
And again,
Deep breath in,
This time focusing on your right shoulder.
Accept where it is and hold.
Good.
And slow and steady,
Breathe out all the way.
And another deep breath in and hold both of your shoulders in your awareness,
With full acceptance and hold at the top.
And this time,
Release it slowly like you're blowing through a straw.
Good.
Take a few more deep breaths and just drop into your body and check in with your energy.
If you are experiencing pain now,
Just send some love to that area and breathe.
We set our intention for this meditation for relief,
Clarity,
And strength.
We're going to slowly move together through the breath and move stuck energy,
Allowing it to leave the body.
Do what you can,
Just breathe.
Deep breath in as we ask this question,
Is there something you've been holding on to?
Breathe out deeply and listen for the answer.
Deep breath in,
Have you been pushing yourself too hard?
And breathe out the answer.
Deep breath in,
Have you been trying to figure something out that doesn't have a solution?
And breathe it out,
Hearing the truth.
Deep breath in,
Have you been having feelings but haven't spoken about it?
And deep breath out,
Listening for the answer.
Now with the next breath in,
We're going to slowly roll the shoulders,
Little shoulder circles,
Moving towards the front and the back,
Slow and steady.
Deep breath in and circle the shoulders,
Bringing your awareness there with some light,
Imagining white light there,
As you slowly circle and slowly breathe.
Just keep circling and breathing slow and steady if it allows,
Letting go of any energy that's stuck.
And slowly steady and let the shoulders rest.
I breathe into the throat chakra now,
The space between my shoulders,
Where I speak my truth.
And I breathe into acceptance that my voice is seen,
Heard,
And valued,
And accepted.
I let this spread into my shoulders by speaking my truth,
And breathe.
Deep breath into the heart chakra now,
The space between the shoulders and below,
Holding your feelings.
I expand my shoulders back,
So with every breath just open the shoulders backward,
Expanding the chest,
Opening the heart center,
And hold.
Breathe into this expansion,
Pulling your wings back and forward all the way.
Let your chest kind of cave in with that next breath,
And breathe and expand and inward.
Breathe and expand the heart center,
Opening the wings,
Expanding your energy,
And when you come forward,
Releasing anything that is left,
Knowing that you are letting love in here in the heart center.
Beautiful.
Allow that to slow down to a standstill,
And just breathe,
Still focusing on your shoulders and sending love and light there.
And on the next breath in,
Just wrap your arms around your shoulders.
Give yourself a big,
Really tight hug.
Really dig in,
And just breathe in this beautiful embrace.
Let the shoulders open with love for you.
Beautiful.
And let everything fall.
Let your arms fall,
Let your shoulders fall,
And just breathe regularly,
In and out,
Slow and steady,
Knowing that you have removed stuck energy,
You have gotten clarity and answers,
And it's time for gratitude.
I am grateful for all that I am.
I am grateful for all that I have,
And I am grateful for all that I will become.
One more deep grounding breath,
Sealing this new energy,
This new healing light into the shoulders,
Into your body,
And into your day.
Well done.
