We suffer when our day is full of an internal no to what is.

We suffer when,

Within us,

Resistance becomes our landscape.

It's possible to live in yes.

It's possible to touch,

Know,

And express thank you.

Begin by noticing what is.

What's here now?

Begin by allowing what is.

Whatever is here now.

Noticing and allowing.

We are habituated to resist what is.

I'm not talking about political resistance or the importance of being vocal when it feels that there's injustice.

I'm speaking about the conditioned tendency to fight with reality,

To resist,

And then seek,

And then resist,

And then seek.

What percentage of your day,

On an energetic level,

Do you find yourself expressing some form of no?

Again,

Not the no of a healthy boundary,

Which,

In fact,

Is a form of yes.

Not the no of this injustice.

I don't want to name or acknowledge this injustice,

But rather this every day,

Moment by moment,

I don't want what is.

I don't like what is.

Things should be different.

I should be different.

What shifts when you practice with yes?

This is not an effortful practice.

This quiet yes is what's there under the noise of no.

This quiet attunement with what is.

This quiet attunement is beneath the clamor of no because you aren't separate from what is.

Even if we are to express ourselves about an injustice,

We first have to say yes,

This is.

Even in a boundary which may appear as a no,

I'm saying yes.

I'm worthy.

There is always yes to be found.

Often,

What follows a universal yes to what is naturally is gratitude.

Gratitude arises from the felt sense that we are not separate.

It arises from wholeness,

Gratitude and an outpouring of love as we recognize we are whole,

Worthy,

Loved.

The Christian mystic Meister Eckhart once said,

If the only prayer you said in your whole life was thank you,

That would suffice.

Invite in yes and allow thank you to saturate your exhalation.

Yes to what is.

Thank you for what is.

With everything that arises,

Noticing any conditioned,

Habituated movement towards no,

The noise of resistance and as a gentle practice,

Invite yes.

And as you breathe,

As you exhale,

Thank you.

Thank you.

Feel the way in which yes and thank you isn't simply a practice,

But an expression of reality itself.

Acceptance and gratitude.

Expressions of love overflowing with itself.

I invite you now to rest in yes and thank you for as long as you wish.
