So with your eyes open or closed,

Let your senses be open to the environment around you.

Sounds,

Smells,

The sensations where your body touches the surface that's supporting it.

Welcome and affirm your heart's deepest longing,

Calling on whatever gives you purpose,

Meaning and value in life.

Welcome and affirm your intention for this practice,

Something that supports your heart's deepest longing.

Welcome and affirm the felt sense of well-being,

Comfort and ease in your body in this and every moment.

Now moving your attention through the various body parts that I name,

Sensations in the areas around your mouth.

Feel the jaw soft,

The coolness of your forehead,

Your whole head,

Neck,

Shoulders,

Arms,

Palms of the hands,

Your torso,

Legs,

Feet,

Your entire body as a radiance.

Feel yourself as the observer of all these sensations and affirm to yourself,

I am aware,

I am at ease,

I am safe and secure with myself.

And sense how the body moves with your breath,

Expanding with each inhalation,

Releasing with each exhalation.

As you release each breath,

Affirm to yourself,

I am aware and at ease.

Note and welcome any emotions or thoughts that are present and notice how they come and go,

Moving across your internal screen.

Let your experience be just as it is,

Just let them float like clouds across the sky.

And if you feel like exploring,

You might like to inquire where the opposites of any thoughts or emotions are present.

Not thinking,

Just experiencing.

These internal movements,

Listening,

Exploring,

Noticing.

Welcome the ease and joy of simply being,

Just now.

Nowhere to go and nothing to do.

Feel yourself as the observer of everything that you're experiencing.

And notice how all that you're experiencing arises and subsides within your awareness.

Allow yourself to dissolve into being the spacious openness of awareness.

Feel yourself as this open spaciousness.

And welcome the feeling of wholeness.

Yourself as a unique expression of the wholeness of life.

And at the same time,

The feeling of being interconnected with everything and not separate.

And as you're ready,

Open and close your eyes several times while welcoming in,

Like a companion,

The felt sense of ease,

Comfort and security to carry with you like an inner resource into your daily life.

Feel grounded and connected to yourself and the world around you.

Feel the sense of purpose,

Meaning and value that life lives through you.

Feel gratitude for taking the time to experience your health,

Healing and wholeness.
