Evening wind down.

It's so important to wind down,

To let go before your head touches the pillow.

First to look at why and how we are blessed and to summon that grateful heart.

Why are you grateful?

The little things are the big things.

You are breathing.

Your heart is beating.

You are loved.

You are supported.

Gratitude immediately relaxes,

Begins to relax the nervous system.

You are beautiful inside out at the cellular level.

Light beams from your heart and a soft smile to count your blessings.

Practicing gratitude even for a few minutes daily or nightly can change your whole perspective,

The way you see from the inside out.

So as you count your blessings and smile,

Your body,

Your physiology begins to relax.

Shoulders away from the ears,

Dropping softly.

The jaw unclenching,

Soft,

Softer.

The forehead smoothing itself out between the eyes especially.

The arms relaxing,

Hands ungripping,

Unclenching,

Fingers free.

And then we move on to the chest and sigh out the day.

Sigh it out loudly,

Dramatically if you wish.

We move lower to our heart and you can touch your heart as it is your drum,

Your life force,

Another smile of gratitude.

And you may notice your heartbeat slowing at this point.

And we move downwards towards our sacral chakra,

Our tummies,

And all the very beautiful and important organs sustaining us.

Take a deep breath into all of them and send them love and gratitude again and again for what they do without you even thinking.

And then we move lower to the pelvic region and the hips.

When we send that area love,

We accept that area.

Send it love.

Move downwards to the legs,

The long muscles of the legs.

Relax.

There's nowhere to go right now.

You are safe.

It's time to let go.

And into the knee region,

The front and the back,

That beautiful joint,

Thanking it for what it does.

And then to the calf muscle,

Send thanks to your bones,

All your beautiful bones,

To your ankles,

To your feet,

The ball of your foot,

And the sole of your foot,

And to your toes.

Send each and every one of them a smile of gratitude.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Your feet have carried you for your entire life.

Let them relax.

Give them love.

And move upwards again through your whole body.

Imagine a light,

Whatever color light you like.

I always think of a light pink or a light blue.

A light color traveling upwards through your body,

Massaging you.

Yes,

Light can massage.

Visualize it traveling through all your cells,

Kissing your cells,

Each and every one of them.

How beautiful it is to visualize this light caressing your cells and thanking your cells and filling you up with love,

Self-love,

And ultimately love from the divine,

Which you are.

If you are feeling sleepy now,

You can rest your head on the pillow if you haven't already and get comfortable.

The day is done.

Close your eyes if you haven't already.

And now it's time to dream.

It's time to travel.

It's time to rejuvenate,

Heal,

And rest.

And we will end this with a few affirmations.

I am love.

I am love.

I am grateful for everything that's good in this world.

I am grateful for everything that's good in this world.

My being is made of pure light.

My being is made of pure light.

I let myself rest,

Rejuvenate,

And heal.

I let myself rest,

Rejuvenate,

And heal.

Wishing you a blessed evening.

All love.

Of course I came here for the wind down, the unexpected gold was in the very loving gratitude we gave to our bodies and the bonus affirmations. Thank you so much for creating this relaxed, loving, ooey-gooey space.
